As mentioned in an otherwise unrelated thread here: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=6, I don't use the screensaver because it kicks in while I'm watching media via an external task. The screensaver doesn't show, it simply runs in the background and glitches the media playback. It occurred to me after posting that it'd be nice to be able to use the screensaver...

So, can we have an option to disable the screensaver as long as an external task is running?

I keep getting a scheduling conflict for two of my recurring recordings, which I think may be a bug.

I have two tuners. The PVR-250 records analog channels, the HVR-3000 records digital channels (via DVB-S). Most channels are available on both tuners, some are digital-only, others are analog-only. The preference is to record on digital - it's the top tuner listed in the config.

I have two recurring recordings set up. One program starts at 1925, and is on a digital-only channel. Another program starts at 1930 and is on a channel available on both digital and analog.

I'd expect the digital tuner to record the program on the digital-only channel (1925 start), and the analog tuner to record the other one (1930 start). What appears to be happening is the digital tuner is selected to record the 1930 program, leaving the analog tuner unable to record the digital-only show. We can resolve this by cancelling one of the recordings and then selecting "quick record" to record it, but next week we will see the same conflict highlighted.

Sub, is this a known bug? Am I doing something dumb? I can provide logs, more detail on config, etc, as required.

I FINALLY moved up from v0.99 and I noticed that the Now Recording/Recording Soon information is not on the main screen anymore, like in 0.99. Is there a way to show that information on the main screen in 1.3.11?

Now have GB-PVR runing soundly
BUT
the epg is not up dating
when i do it man it lacks content in that it has some info but not all and not for days or the week ahead
using DVB-T broadcast epg NZ Freeview
any ideas?

Quick question here:

I'm loving PVRX2 for media playback, but I don't have a capture card or anything like that and I'm not planing on getting one. Not that it is a big deal, but I'm wondering: Is there is a way to disable the recording services (and gbpvrtray.exe) so as not to use any memory?

Ever since switching to the new mvpmcx2 I've been having a problem connecting through one of my PCH. I have a PCH in my Family Room that works flawlessly. The one in my Bedroom acts like it is connecting and then closes (behaves as if I pressed the Power button). I end up in SwissCenter (modified script). The PCHs each connect to a different share MVPMC1 and MVPMC respectively. I did a side-by-side of the files inside the shares and they are identical. I don't know what could be the problem. The only difference I know is the PCH in my Bedroom is the original version (720p in startup script) and the PCH in my Family Room is the newer version (1080p in the startup script). They are both connected with HDMI. Any ideas?

I've had much bad luck getting QAM to work with GBPVR while it worked with Media Center. But I guess now that the switch has happened, I'm in luck. After updating HDHR, their latest scan (only 9 frequencies) found a number of QAM. Thinking this was good news, I then used the Center freqs of the QAM manager and found much, much more. So now the 2250 and HDHR work well in GBPVR.
The only problem I have is going to live tv. The first QAM channel I tune to is black with no sound. If I go to any other QAM channel it works. Then I just go back to the original and all is fine.
WinTV 7 also is picking up the QAM as well. Guess the switch was a good thing.

I'm having trouble playing mp4 files. I get audio, but no video. I installed the haali media splitter, but that did not seem to help.

Is there something in gbpvr that I need to configure after installing haali?

I have installed ML3 and it runs fine in community skin. However it doesn't work well in CS widescreen so I'm trying it in blue screen. When I run it in blue screen it doesn't load and the log shows this error.

Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\skin2\blue\MusicLibrary3\bullet_ball_yellow.png'

That png file is not in that folder, nor is it in the MusicLibrary3 folder ML3beta zip. What have I done wrong?
