How to get MameUI32 to work in the GameZone plugin as well as other emulators/PC games?
I did as the threads AND as the wiki state but when I for example click on MameUI32 and NES in the GameZone menu I only get error messages and some times nothing at all. The applications never execute.
Around 8 months ago my wife requested a small plugin that would give her the NZ Lottery Results.
We have been using it since then with no issues. I thought I may as well submit it as a nice little plugin for fellow kiwis I am not interested in developing it any more. if it doesn't work for you then just simply delete it, if it works and you use it, it would be nice to drop a note back.
Do NOT blame me if you miss your lottery win because of this application I give no guarantees and accept no liability!.
I just noticed a new button I had not before. It seems to only show after I watch a program. Then I can select if I want to play keep or close the window. But for some reason Keep doesnt always show up not even after watching a show to the fullest. Can anyone tell me when exaclty I can make this occur as it does not seem to occur all the time on all of my recordings. Further more what does it do I couldnt find anything about it in the wiki (The wiki seems more disorganized than the last time I used it).
I am interested in this function as a keep function would be great say one that I could configure to converth the program to xvid or divx and export it to a folder of my choosing in the Video section. It may already be there and I have just not seen it yet.
I am using v. 1.2.13 with community3 skin. Thanks for the help.
Im in need of finding out why my computer tends to find "AVerMedia 23888 Video Capture" as an active Video source for Webcam, yet it shows as either nothing but a Black or Red Feedback. Some people mention this as being a capcard but if someone else out there knows how I can use this or help me in some other way. It would be much appreciated.
I am new to the Forum & to GB-PVR so please excuse any protcal mistakes.
I have been running the GB-PVR 10311 for about a month w/ no problems to speak of. I tried to rescan my channels after the big digital switch.
Every time I try to "map digitals channels to EPG channels" the config program freezes when it reaches channel 37. any help would be great. I have attached what i think is the correct log file but if any thing else is needed please let me know. I looked for this in the forum but didn't find any thing so if there is another thread I should be looking at please let me know
Thanks in advance
So how did everyone receiving US OTA digital do yesterday?
I had a few of my channels switch around noon, but the rest didn't switch until midnight. Given the hap-hazzard nature of this whole excercise, I'm surprised they all switched the same day. I didn't want to scan and map twice, so I just let the dead ones lie until they all switched.
As to which ones switched, I had about half of my main 12 channels move around... the original VHF-Hi channels all moved back to their original channels (7, 9, 11, 13), while the original VHF-Lo (2, 4, 5) channels stayed on UHF. I understand it's that way in most markets, because the VHF-Lo frequencies require a much larger antenna to receive well, and are more susceptible to impulse noise which wreaks havoc on digital streams. My UHF-optimized antenna doesn't get VHF-Lo well at all, but does quite well on VHF-Hi so this all worked well for me.
Channel 2 actually took the UHF channel 9 had been using (43), so for half the day we could still watch channel 2 by picking 9 from the guide.
On the upside of all of this, my channels all seem to come in better now. Specifically channels 7 and 13 (formerly on UHF 53 and 66 respectively) could not be received at all by my USB tuner before, now they come in perfectly. No doubt this a combination of the frequency change and an increase in broadcast power. So at last both of my tuners have all the channels.
I have experiencing this problem once in a while but it's really time consuming trying to catch it. Appreciate if anyone experienced the same problem could help me on this. I schedule a recording at certain timing and before that the PC was in standby. I have noticed it wakes up and start recording (I could tell from the hardisk led is blinking) and sometime after an hour or so during recording I tried to control the pc via a usb keyboard but the PC will not respond and the screen is blank. At this moment I notice the hardisk led has stopped blinking and has confirmed the recording has stop. The recorded mpeg file is somehow corrupted and unable to play. I can't tell is this symptom under recording crash or PC hang during standby. Please help.
I have a number of AVI files which I'd like to convert to mpg so as to have pause/skip control over them like TV recordings when playing from my server via MediaMVPs
How might I best achieve this?
The conversions I've attempted result in files that play with the following characteristics:
AVI via VLC on clientPC = plays.
AVI via PVRX2 client = Sound; no video
AVI via MediaMVP = Video; no sound
MPG via VLC on clientPC = plays.
MPG via PVRX2 client = Video; no sound
MPG via MediaMVP = plays but no time-bar and skip is very unreliable/unpredictable, readily causes loss-of-sync, restart or even a hang.
AVIs are XviD(624x352)/MP3. MPGs are MPG2/AC-3 but I guess I need mpeg audio somehow or, perhaps, extra codecs/whatever on the server or, most probably, a better understanding of GB-PVR dependencies for various tasks.
For completeness: used mpegImport to generate an xml file for mpg files which I imported using GB-PVRConfig.
