I was running 1.3.7 successfully except for occasional recordings that wouldn't stop so I upgraded to 1.3.11
I upgraded 1.3.11 over 1.3.7. It seemed ok except I got some 0 byte recordings so I rebooted the computer BUT now my recording status shows 8 tuners rather than the 2 (Nova TD stick) I have.
I uninstalled and reinstalled 1.3.11 but now it won't install because it comes up with ".Net framework installation utility encountered a problem" at the very end.
I've downloaded the 2005 C++ libraries from the 1.3.7 survival and reinstalled them.
I've reinstalled .net 2.0 SP1
But I still get the error ".Net framework installation utility encountered a problem" at the very end.
I've downloaded and installed GB, put can't figure out how to set it up and use it, and I've been using computers for 30 years! Nothing about GB seems to be intuitive.
Where might I find a thorough step by step instructions on setting GB up, and most importantly how to get the EPG to work?
Some short questions from a newbie (hope I am posting in the right forum):
1.) Is Live Preview available if client and server (with tuner card) are on different machines being connected by LAN?
2.) If yes, how fast is channel switching in Live TV?
3.) If not, how fast is channel switching in Live TV?

When I use a mouse to navigate in the Recordings section, I used to be able to just select a video and use the scroll wheel to scroll through the list. But ever since 1.3.7 when I click on a video it doesn't get focus and if I try and use the scroll wheel the menu selection on the left changes. I have the use the keyboard's right arrow in order to give the video list the focus. This behavior, as you can imagine, is kind of annoying.
Hi, I upgraded to 1.3.11 when it came out. I re-added padding to my scheduled recordings (had previously set padding to 0 minutes) but am still getting weird failures. Under 1.3.7 I had this problem which is why the set the padding to 0 and it helped a bit but now it seems to be a bit worse. Sorry, only anecdotal evidence here.
Coronation St at 7.30pm tonight just failed, but McLeods Daughters succeeded. Wondering if you could shed some light on why or what I could do? Logs attached.
Would it perhaps be beneficial to create a new recordings directory and/or reinstall the app and/or recreate all my schedules - i don't mind the idea of starting fresh if it would help.

The SPIKE channel has changed from channel 60 to channel 18, but my EPG still shows channel 18 as ESPN-Classic and the show information is blank. I'm using Schedules Direct for my guide data. I tried going into each capture source (I have 3 tuner cards) and clicking the "Empty EPG" button and then the "Update EPG" button, but nothing changes. How can I get my EPG to update with the correct channel information for channel 18?
