Using NextPVR v5.2.6.220206 I want to use the search function to create recordings for the episodes of a series I have missed. Example: I missed the start of Series 5 of Bangers and Cash on the "Yesterday" channel. I can search for 'Bangers and Cash' but it comes up with 88 episodes only 5 of which are for Series 5 The series description starts with the usual S05E03 etc but if I put S05 in the 'description text' the search finds nothing! I'm using Schedules Direct as a source, but I don't think that should not make any difference. How can I create a manual recording "advanced 'title like '%bangers and Cash%' ' but for Series 5 episode only?
Everything is working great but I am using an EPG provider for about a dozen channels that is only good for 8 hrs.
Is there a bat file or something where I could make to run the EPG updater more than just once a day?
Maybe a wishlist item would be where when you select the time you want the update you could have multiple updates within a 24hr period.

A little while ago the ability to import a single recording XML file was fixed and I have been using this, on and off, to reorganise my recordings library to be more along the lines of the Kodi Movies/Files and TV Shows. This almost complete but I am currently left with several seasons of some TV Shows I record for the kids which each have multiple episodes (25/30 per season). Each season has its own folder and I have come across a Powershell script that allows me to make bulk changes to the <filename> tags in each of the XML files to point to the new file locations. Nothing else in the XML file has been changed.
Having made the changes above I was faced with the task of importing each XML file back into NextPVR until I remembered that the import facility (Settings / General/ Import Recordings) can (should ?) also handle a zip file (of XML files ?). I bundled up all the XML file for each season into a zip file and tried to import the zip file. Nothing happened. Checking the log files I can see that tha zip file is recognised, as are the XML files, but nothing happens to them after that:
I followed the SoftPVR instructions for NextPVR and the device showed up as analog in the settings.
I added a couple of FM Stations But when I play them there is no sound.
I have been running NPVR for years on AMD based systems. Recently I killed the AMD motherboard and ended up trying Intel and a MSI motherboard.
I have two TBS-6281 DVB-T2 dual tuner PCIE cards. I can get one working in a PCIE x16 slot, but in a x4 or x1 slot, Device Manager tells me that the device "cannot start (code 10)".
(Windows 10 Pro 64bit (fully up to date), MB is MSI Z490-A-PRO, CPU is i5-10400)
MSI are no help at all, telling me that it's normal for old PCIE cards to not be compatible with new Motherboards. TBS want me to give them Remote Access to my computer so they can have a look and I'm not keen to do that.
So my questions are:
Has anyone else experienced PCIE tuner/Motherboard incompatibilities?

Has anyone got an LGA1200 socket Motherboard and DVB-T2 tuner combination which does work?
I've used NextPVR on Windows, but am at-heart a Linux guy. I trying to implement the "Scripts" in Linux, following the directions for Windows, but I'm either missing something, or the scripts for Linux need to be implemented or named differently. I tried creating a script called "PreStartup.sh" in /var/opt/nextpvr/scripts, but it seems to never be executed. Should I name them .bat? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
