I have just changed my DVB-S cards and my epg setup.

I cannot find out how to change the order of the channels though. It would appear they are in the order of the first epg extract.

Through config I have tried double clicking on channels etc to see if there are any properties but cant find anything.

Currently running V1.3.7 with two Nova-HS-S2 cards, epg from digiguide through XMLTV

My only though was to remove all the channels, but this seems a bit exreme as I guess I would have to map all the channels again.

Could the docs. / wiki be updated so that a search on slow motion results in a hit to say GBPVR doesn't do it. It would save some (search) time.

Searching the forums I see this is a requested feature, particularly to better align GBPVR with the functionality of hardware VCRs / PVRs. I'll add my vote, for whatever that's worth.

Since there are no remote buttons / functionality for slow motion or frame by frame advance, and as far as I can tell such functionality won't be acquired any time soon, could the docs be updated so people can answer their question of where it is, faster?

I have a couple theatres that ICL doesn't seem to be parsing the films correctly.

They are through IMDB, and their theatre codes are 10060 and 8714.

There are 16 movies being parsed, with some of them being COMING SOON releases. But ICL doesn't seem to be picking this up, and marking them as "IN THEATRES". I have attached screen shots, and the titles in ALL CAPS are the films I am referring to. Some of these films are actually in theatres, but I am not getting info on them either.

I started using this software 2 days ago and all was good, I could never get the picture play back from within GBPVR but VLC or media player were playing the MPEG2 files with no issues.

I wanted to convert the Mpeg 2 files into AVIs so I downloaded and installed VirtualDubMod and started converting to AVI files. In the process I also updated my DivX codec.

My problems started last night when I had a few files scheduled to record overnight. All the files recorded as expected the problem is that there is no sound on these files picture is fine just no audio. note that PC audio is fine, like I can listen to MP3s.

I tried updating the MPEG2 codec, I also tried Gspot that told me that the codec is installed, I reinstalled AC3 filter I also removed the capture source and reinstalled it, I uninstalled the GBPVR and reinstalled it and still no luck.

Can someone please tell me what I need to do, any help would be appreciated.

My HTPC has a Haupagge PVR 150 card, and I installed it a week ago to record from Antenna.

I am running the latest version of the software, and I have no plugins. I am using djkxml for my XML TVguide.

It seems to keep the prices low, I have to 'settle' for a digital package (Comcast, US, PA) I haven't used a cable box for over 6 years, and didn't want to have to. I was happy with the channels I used to get.

Anywho... Since I have the service, what do I get? Does that mean that I could use a digital cable tuner?

Have any of you set up GBPVR with an on-demand digital box? What's the best course of action?

I'm not going to have cable or satellite- just going to be recording local over the air HD.

3 pci ports- no agp/or pci express(Thinking about going to a different setup for this reason-something with onboard hdmi )
2-80 gig ide drives

The compaq is something I have just lying around , I willing to use something better if it won't work

What would be the best tuner/capture card for the money for what I'm doing with gbpvr?
I would like fm radio if at all possible

Many times when I play music or start a recording play back my audio doesn't start.

During a recording playback, if I press skip ahead 10 second then my audio starts.

For music play back, just clicking on another song often causes it to start.

I'm using the AC3Filter for audio rendering.

Anyone have an idea how to get audio starting more consistent?

Is anyone else having problems connecting to Fox News Talk via the Net Radio main menu list? It doesn't seem to work at all. All the other stations available on the list (under the "Talk" genre) all work fine so I'm guessing that Fox is using the wrong URL link internally? Is there any way of altering this in any of the config files?

The only reliable link I know that works EVERY time from just about ANY media player (eg.WMP, VLC & my Internet Radio) is:

"http://foxnews-foxnewstalk.wm.llnwd.net/foxnews_foxnewstalk"

Is this what is being used GBPVR or not? If not, why not?

I can't seem to get to the Recordings screen. When I click on Recordings, it flashed for a half second then automatically returns to the main menu...any idea?
I went into the web interface and there are two failed recordings showing, but I had already manually deleted those files. Could that be an issue? I try to delete them from the web interface, but they won't go away.
