I have a small problem. I can't play mpeg 4 .ts files in PVRX2. (ver 1.3.7)
I can play any file with MPC without any problem.

Do I need to download something to get FM Radio? I do not see it in the interface. I have it checked in the config, but it just doesn't show up??
I have a PVR-500 and an HVR-2250 which both have FM tuners.
I've had issues using PVRX2 and previously GBPVR and took a few days off work to finally get to the bottom of them. I had crashes, strange remote control behaviour, some parts of the menu not working and some strange artifacts.
I have reloaded win XP and installed all the other stuff .Net, drivers, etc and just keep getting the same sort of problems. I've reached the point where I've swapped out all of the hardware from another PC, tried different codecs and different versions of drivers, as I've had similar issues with different versions, I've now convinced myself that the problem lies with the fact that the tv tuner cards and graphics card all share the same IRQ.
Is there a way to re-allocate the graphics card IRQ? I've tried setting the PC to 'standard PC' from 'ACPI Compliant' but couldn't find a way to change the IRQ.
I'd really appreciate any input as I'm stuck,

Hi, i have a TV card with a SAA7134 chipset, i don't know the card type , all i know is that i got it from iSonic. I have searched all over but cant find out how to add this card to GBPVR. I tried to add it to the direct.ini file, like this:

But when i go to Live TV, or any program in the TV guide, it flashes and goes back to the menu. I have got this card working with other programs like winPVR and DScaler. Is there any way to get this card working with GBPVR? :confused: (It has WDM)
Does anyone else have problems running PVRX2 (the client piece) on their PVR? I have a 1.8 GHz processor and 640MB RAM. Ever since I switched from using the old exe (GBPVR.exe) to the new one (PVRX2.exe), I haven't been able to launch PVRX2.exe. I see the process start, and it shows up in the task bar, but the window never comes up.
I am having problems with my local cinema ID. (Hoyts NZ) In the config it tells me to go to http://hoytsnz.ninemsn.com.au for a local cinema ID, but I cannot get to this site. My browser always redirects me to http://www.hoytsnz.co.nz. I have tried to edit "sources.xml" so that the updater goes to the NZ site but to no avail. (404 errors in the log). My local is "http://www.hoyts.co.nz/Cinemas/locations/Wairau_Park_-_Auckland.aspx?type=" from the address bar.
Maybe I personally would have preferred to have the links to the wiki and forum on top. But this design LOOKS better than it should have done if they had been...

The MCE Standby tool (MST) by Herman van Eijk has a useful feature that some of you might not have seen. It can run programs or batch files at suspend or resume.
I was using the GBPVRWake.exe/wake.cmd combo from here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/BatchFiles
to load a new profile into LCDSmartie and make sure PVRx2 has focus (using Hstart). I found that GBPVRWake runs a little slowly after the computer wakes so I was getting a popup command window over PVRx2. It really killed the HTPC illusion for my wife (who kept asking do we have picture in picture?)
The MCE Standby tool runs the batch right after the computer resumes so it is gone before the picture appears on the TV. Also it can run a separate batch or program at suspend.
The description at the link above lists some programs that could be run (like devcon or tasKkill) to control standby issues with devices or programs. You could stop the problem device or program before standby and restart it after resume.
