Hello,

First I have to say that GBPVR is excellent!!

However i've run into a problem that I haven't been able to solve.

I have the latest version of GBPVR, and had set it up with a Twinhan 102G, which scans quite a few channels without too much trouble and gets almost everything I am looking for.

Recently I wanted to go with dual tuners, so I went with two Nova-S-Plus DVB-S cards, no problems installing the drivers or getting GBPVR to detect dual cards.

After setting everything up in GBPVR The Nova-S-Plus cards just do not scan hardly anything compared to the Twinhan 102G. I made sure I have the most recent drivers, hec I even ran new cable today and I can either run from a DPQuad LMB, a DP34 setup to a dual DP lnb, or just to a pair of legacy lnb's with a disque switch(I have a receiver hooked up to each one so that I do not have to worry about having enough power to switch between sats).


I have also tried changing settings in the config.xml, nothing has helped.

I even kept a copy of the scan.cache files from the Twinhan 102G card, tried to use that with the Nova-S-Plus card(s) and I do not get a signal from any of the channels I map.

I have verified that both cards are working properly using DVBDream, and with that they pull every channel in, but I would really like to get these cards working better with GBPVR.

IF more info is needed, please let me know


Is there something else I need to do, or is it that there is not really any support for the Nova-S-Plus cards??

Ok so i just upgraded to 1.37 awesome work, but i am struggling with the multiple recording part. I am using quam and i am sure there are multiple streams on certain transpomders

Questions:
1) How do i identify this in PVRX2
2) If i have multi recording enabled and set recordings that are on the same transponder does it automatically use multi recording if you have 2 capute devices for QAM

I am confused as to how to get this to work beyond setting the Ts mux option and clicking enable multi recordings

Animal Planet changed from ANML to APL. I edited the capture sources and removed all the channels and updated the EGP for each card. It shows up properly as channel 58 when I view the capture sources, but it shows up above channel on the TV Guide. I went into 'System' -> 'Update EGP' but that didn't seem to fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

I unsuccessfully upgraded to V1.0.21.0 from V1.20.0. MW Manager fails with error and crashes
"Error translating column image. Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown."

The plugin seems OK. Any thoughts? :confused:

I like the new skin, and I don't want to sound ungrateful, but ...

in Video Library, the thumbnail sticks. The first video that has a thumbnail has the piccie displayed correctly, but then as I move down the list, the thumbnail stays put, until I get to the next entry with no thumbnail, at which point the old picture disappears. The next movie with a jpg displays correctly, but this new thumbnail then hangs about until I get to the next movie with no thumbnail.

Is anyone else out there seeing this, or is it just me?

Any suggestions on how I can fix it?

I'm going to be getting a 37" LCD 1080i, and I'm looking at Dell referbs for a system ($400)

W/ a decent video card (probably an 8600), would this be enough for a 1600 card or HD PVR to run full screen?

Also, how have people's HD PVR experiences been? The newegg reviews are good, but I see people putting a lot in the "cons" section.

I was hoping in the next release that maybe you could make it so that the Green button will Re-lock the catagories set for password protection if it has been unlocked. maybe even relock if you go back to the main menu. The only way I know how to relock the content is to exit PVRX2. Awesome plugin btw.

I was wondering would it be possible, and maybe someone has done this, to have a modification to the 'Slick' theme to make all the music/video/photo, recordings and other such lists darker so that lighter background images can be used.

I know I must be doing something wrong but I just can't workout what. I have used the installer for my PCH A110 and all seems to be well and I am able to browse to my share on the Vista PC running GB-PVR.

I am presented with a blue PCH screen with Start and four icons (reel, note, camera and page with play symbol). I select the page with play symbol and I get to a new page.

The new page has a single item which is GB-PVR.html which I select. The screen goes blue with a white box and three selections (GB-PVR, GB-PVR via Network Browser, GB-PVR via USB). Whichever I select (although I normally go for GB-PVR) I get a new screen with "Request cannot be processed" Press Return key to return to the previous screen.

So what have I done wrong?

GB-PVR 1.3.7
Vista 32 bit ultimate
Vista PC part of Windows 2003 AD domain
PCH with latest firmware and HDD

Can I change the display name of a plugin in the menu?

for example: I want Movie Wizard to say "Watch a Movie" in the menu. Is there a way to do this? thanks in advance.
