I'm running the NextPVR server on a Windows 10 PC and deployed the following steps to get Filmon working
1. Downloaded and installed Streamlink 3.1.1 for Windows from the Github Assets section (https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink.../tag/3.1.1)
2. Downloaded the Filmon zip file and extracted the file to C:\Program Files\NextPVR\data
3. Set up guide on SD
3. Restarted server (and also restarted computer).
I'm not seeing Filmon as a source in the server's devices (even after Rescanning for Devices)

I've been experiencing hangs with NLite on a client (Windows 10). Currently on the 2/24 build.
Don't think this matters, but the machine is on a fast wireless connection, but I can still remote in after the lockup.
Finally captured a log. NLite.log included. Let me know if you need anything else.
After some troubleshooting, NextPVR seems to be fine.
However it doesn't seem to be able to access my newly formatted data drive: /mnt/Data
I was getting "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)". After some troubleshooting it seems to be access to the new /mnt/Data disk.
I can read and write data to it but NextPVR doesn't seem to be able to.
I tried:
sudo chgrp video '/mnt/Data/RecordedTV'
chmod +775 '/mnt/Data/RecordedTV'
chmod g+s '/mnt/Data/RecordedTV'
setfacl -d -m g::rwX '/mnt/Data/RecordedTV'
No joy. Obviously I missed something. Something is sideways with permissions.
When I use the web gui, I can see the disk...and I go to the directory (RecordedTV) and select it, but then it bounces back to the disk.
Is there anyway within NextPVR to auto cancel or stop recordings when the target drive is low on space? As best I can tell it seems to be willing to go all the way to 0 free space which can be a challenge when NextPVR is installed on the same drive.

Let me start by saying this is not a request for you to change anything, it's just a question.
Is there a way, in the web UI, to display/filter the recordings according to the folders they were recorded in, as opposed to displaying all recordings that were made?
This is a feature I've been using in V4.
Is there a way to change the default Recording Type when using the Advanced tab to set up a recording?
Now it comes up as Record Series (All Episodes).
I couldn't find a way looking at the config file.
I’m using a sat card in my PC to watch freesat. In the freesat software, there is an app you can download which after you log in and pair with the box, you can access an epg from your phone and schedule a recording.
Is ths possible in nextPVR or is there any software that can do this
Good day all, I apologize if this has been addressed already. I've done a search for this title and only came up with 2 results. My tv guide (powered by schedules direct) has been having issues since I've done the update to 5.2.6.220206. Previously I had a problem where just one channel 11.1 was failing to start/stream/record and tbh, it wasn't that big of a deal for me since it was only singing competition stuff for my wife's likes. It's been fixed with this latest update but now the schedule is broken for me, impacting my kid's tv show recordings. Now it's a big enough deal that I'm going to register for the forums.
I've done manual updates and that hasn't worked. Tried to remove/install/delete/scan my tuners and that hasn't worked. Just for fun I've renamed the nshared.dll file and did a re-install with the exe file and that hasn't brought back the missing data. I've included my logs via the zip attachment.
Until the two updates I've run, everything has worked flawlessly. The windows server (2019 Essentials v 1809 build 17763.2510) it's hosted on has had regular windows updates.
You'll have to pardon my ignorance but I'm brand new to this. I've got NextPVR set up on my Windows machine with IPTV and every time I try and record a show, something fails and it becomes unplayable. I can record a 2 hour show and it will say that it's something like 7 hours. Then when I try and play it, I get 'Streaming Failed (Transcoder Exited)' either right away, or at some point through the broadcast. I can watch live tv for hours just fine, but recording does this every time. I'm trying to put my finger on what's going on. I'm sorry if I uploaded my log file wrong, I did it in zipped format.

I have just switched to satellite and there are a few channels that play a few secs then freeze (like they are paused). You can stop, start again, and the same happens.
