Hi I am using the latest version of gbpvr with the HDPVR usb device. The system had been working for several weeks then suddenly around the "day light savings hour change" it began to stop recording prematurely by varying times (not exactly an hour unfortunately). It seems to be ok on 30 minute shows but movies that are longer than a hour are cut prematurely. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this issue and had an idea for a fix? Any input appreciated.
Hi, a simple UI request if possible please.
From the recordings tab if you click on a pending recording then the 2 buttons in the pop-up window are both green. The "cancel recording button" should ideally be red as a warning and not the same colour as the close button (one might inadvertently cancel a recording).
I.E. it should be similar to the pop-up window when clicking on an available recording where the delete button is red and the close button green.
(minor request: The delete button on each available recording on the main recordings screen could also be red.)

First of all - this software is AMAZING! Well done, but I do have a gripe.
In order for the TV guide and software to work I need to allow my firewall to fully allow access to GBPVRRecordingService.exe, sqlbrowser.exe, PVRX2.exe and also GBPVRTray.exe.
My problem is that I dont want it to connect to the internet and so want to change my firewall to block those options - but then GBPVR stops working.
I have set up the EPG guide to DVB EPG Broadcast so the channel and program information should come through the UK Freeview and not need the XMLTV internet access at all.
Would really appreciate knowing how to get this up and running without internet access as I dont like allowing my firewall to allow access if there is no good reason for it.
I hope someone can advise and I appreciate all answers very much indeed!
I'm still confused about the 2250's ability to watch and record 2 analog channels....
Can I connect my local cable provider's coax cable (non digital, no cable box) to the 2250 via the analog input and map certain channels (cbs,nbc,abc,fox) as an analog recording source and then connect my Dish Network STB to the 2250 by the s-video input and map the rest of the channels (execpt the above listed channels) as another analog recording source and watch a channel from the STB while recording a channel from the cable provider?
My current configuration is a pvr-150 connected to the STB by s-video, GBPVR and IR blaster to control the STB, which works great....But I want the ability to record from the cable provider (reliable, but not the best quality), but I want to be able to watch the STB also (not reliable, but great quality)...
I know I can add another pvr-150 and do this but I'm trying to combine both into 1 slot...
On our new PC ( Intel Q6600 CPU, 4gb Ram now running Vista ) I had
installed a KWorld DVB-T PC 160 TV Tuner . This works fine on Windows
Media Centre but after around 3 - 4 hours it stops and gives the message
' No tuner installed.! '
Restarting the PC usuallysorts it out but obviously it's
no good to leave on to record progs.
Thinking of using up to 3 of the Hauppauge 2250 tuner cards, but want to make sure GBPVR can support them all at once. Looks like my current MB only has 2 free PCIe slots, but might replace it to go all 2250s. Just nice to not have to mix drivers.
Might go with a couple 1600s if need be. Just want to get up to being able to record at least 6, 8 prefered, shows at once with at least 4 HD tuners.
Super Easy Deployment of a Plugin
The Batch-Installer.exe program is a GUI to launch 2 BAT files and show Screenshots, a Readme files and optionally a HTML page. It is really easy to use this method to install files into a GBPVR Installation.
Just put the files you want to install into the {InstallDir] sub folders.
All Files in the [InstallDir] folder tree will be X-Copied to the GBPVR Installation.
Edit the PluginName.BAT files at the line âSet PluginName=âYour Plugin and Skin Nameâ, so the Plugin directory will be removed upon UnInstall.
Rename the file Readme.Batch-Installer.rtf to your own *Readme.âYour Nameâ.rtf and it will be shown in text window.

If i understand correctly you can use GBPVR as a streaming server? I have seen mention of using pvrx2 as a client as well. I would like to try to do this but it seems i cant find a clear cut explanation of the process. I f someone could explain how i might accomplish this or let me know that i am incorrect in my assumption i would greatly appreciate it.
Has anyone had problems receiving TVNZ FreeviewHD programmes over the past week?
TV3 seems fine but getting TVNZ channels both on LiveTV and recording seems hit and miss over the past week.
I had no problems during the Olympics but noticed it last week when I couldn't get TV1 for the elections. And yesterday it recorded a 5GB unwatchable file for Mission Impossible on TV2.
I also upgraded to 1.3.7 last week but I'm not sure if it's related.
