Be relatively to the world of Windows programing I was wondering if anyone know or can find out via their MSDN that if I stop GB-PVR Recording Service

and then updating the registry by "anding"

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GB-PVR Recording Service\Type

with 0x100 would that enable Interact with Desktop when the recording service restarts?

I'm enjoying the enchancer, but have a couple things I would find handy and thought you may want to consider.

It would be nice to be able to shorten the date to just the year. Some shows, like sitcoms, I like to see the year as I know what seasons were funnier than others but I don't really need the whole air date.

Could we put a space before and after the date as it runs into the program title now if set to pre or append to the show title. Not a big deal, I set it to append so it's easier to read but it would be nice to have a space between them.

It's pretty spiffy though - already got high WAF marks!!!

Just tonight I have been having some problems with live TV. I can't really say whether or not this will be a consistant problem as I have only had GBPVR and NMT for a short while.

After around 30 mins of watching live TV the NMT blanks then goes to its default interface yet the audio from the channel keeps playing for 5 - 10 secs. If I go back into GBPVR via NMT I cannot play anything, no Livetv, no recordings, no media....

Has anyone else suffered with these problems?

Any help would be greatfully received.

Give yourselves a big slap on the back for this plugin, its pretty sweet.
I'm new to uTorrent so it took me 1/2 an hour to install and setup rather than the 2 minutes it would have taken if I was already using utorrent.

2 (fresh eyes) comments:

1/ download staus refresh reate is a bit random- no biggie
2/ Any chnace of hooking it into Enhanced Web Admin -

I have a new Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-166 capture card. Everything seems to work correctly with the supplied WinTV software. I can watch TV and record.

When I double click a program in the TV Guide and click the Watch button the window turns black for about one second and the TV Guide displays. The program does not appear on the screen. I ran the Tuning Assistant and all channels show and play correctly in the Tuning Assitant window.

I am very new to using a capture card and to GB-PVR and do not know what to do to fix this problem. My settings are listed below. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I installed and configured YapiXML then installed GB-PVR. I configured a capture source using the following settings:

Recording Source: Analog Recording Plugin
EPG Source: XMLTV Plugin
Channel Changer: No Channel Changer Required.

For the Recording Source Settings I used:

Capture Card Type: Hauppauge HVR-1600 (Analog)
Country: USA
Board Number Capture Device #1
Source: Internal Tuner
Tuning: Cable

There are currently "Ready" and "Failed" tags for the recorded shows, and it would be great to see if something was "Partial" as well (i.e. scheduled time + buffer != actual file length). Once in a while an unexpected restart or something will interfere with a recording, and it would be great to see up front that there was an issue.

Likewise, manual recordings could be marked "Manual" if successful.

However, there is no obvious way that anyone has left a visitor message to me. (Unlike private msgs where a reminder is on every page)

I only happened across it when editing my signature and clicked on the wrong place!..

From the sounds of it the next firmware update for PCH is coming out today.

Anyone know if there is anything that will change how we setup the PCH to connect to GBVR?
