I have successfully configured GbPVR with my WinTV PVR. I am having difficulty configuring the remote using HIP. I need some help. Can someone point me to the right steps. Using the remote I can increase and decrease the volume. I followed the instruction on setting up HIP and followed the step by step instruction to teach the IR blaster. But I am NOT able to switch channel using the WinTV remote. Please help. Thank you in advance for all the help.
Just installed the mod. When going to the radio page it asks to add the channels. I click yes, wait. The box disappears and nothing happens.
Checking the log, there are errors showing.

Little further info... I live in London, and have set the card to 'Crystal Palace' (after seeing another post).
Just clearing out my hard drive and found gbnetradio file at 2Gb, I only installed the plugin on Sunday had a quick play with it then watched TV.
File creation date ties up with the first use date i.e. Sunday, but it appears to still be being written to because I cant delete it and last update was about an hour ago.
Verizon is using 4 digit channel numbers. So when I tell the channel.exe (from the firestb package) to change the channel, I get a long pause before the channel change. This causes quite a few problems with my HD-PVR if it is changing from HD to SD or vice-versa (as you know).
Any chance this is already in the next release, or a way I can do a temporary fix?
Perhaps I can tell channel.exe to force an enter after the channel number since that would be instant?
While running GBPVR, all of the keys on my remote seem to work, but some keys will additionally bring up MCE functions.
For example, the Guide button brings up GBPVR's TV Guide, but moments later MCE's TV Guide takes over the screen.
Similarly, the Live TV button does the right thing in GBPVR, but then an MCE screen appears with the text "Tuner not available" (naturally, since GBPVR has it.)
Other Media Center programs somehow inhibit MCE from being triggered by the remote while they are running, so it should be possible for GBPVR to do so.
How can I make GBPVR inhibit MCE from coming up when I press such buttons?
In case it is relevant, my hardware is: ASUS G2S-B2 notebook running Vista SP1 with AVERTV NanoExpress HC82 Tuner, and Pinnacle MCE remote/IR Receiver. A Radioshack remote configured for "Microsoft MCE" behaves identically.
I use the 'autoconvert' option to transcode dvr-ms files to mpeg2 immediately after the recording ends (using ASAP for the conversion time).
I'd like to run a utility to process the dvr-ms file BEFORE the conversion starts and, although there's the option to use a PostConversion.bat file, there isn't one for PreConversion so...
Does the PostProcessing.bat file get run after the recording finishes and before an auto-conversion starts, i.e., would the auto-transcode wait for PostProcessing.bat to complete before starting?
I was just looking at the Plugins on the Wiki and noticed a few that I have running on 1.2.13 that weren't confirmed as compatilbe, then I notice for the first time this message:

Does that mean anyone can mark a plugin as compatible or do you still need a wiki user and password?
Hi I know this has been brought up before, And people have suggested UBU stream could probably do it, But My wish is for a definitive program just for iplayer or definitive instructions on how to get it to work with UBU.
So how to, or a program to
List all programmes, by Channel, and have a search function, Just like the on-line version of iPlayer. All you have top do is select the program and it starts playing.
Thanks for any advice or any developer willing to take this on.
