I notice that alot of my movies are either way too loud in the audio track, or to low. I'm not saying have GBPVR normalize each file permanantly, although that would be nice, but it would take to long and be too time consuming.

I mean, it would be nice to set a reference level for audio output when a movie (or music/audio) file starts - then, when a movie/song is starting have gbpvr or plugin analyze the files audio data, then boost the volume or lower it to a set reference level so your not constantly rasing/lowering the volume when a movie is starting.

Although this would be nice if gbpvr had a audio compressor built in to it, I have a feeling that this would maybe more of a plugin.

I already have a problem with pause, but rewind ff etc.. don't work either.
They work on recorded stuff, so I know the buttons on the remote work.

Some config setting?

I have 2 2250 cards all recording only analog.
If I set 4 channels to record manually, I get video for all 4 recordings.

If I set all 4 to record automatically, like 30 min later, then one channel only gives me black or a blue screen. No video.

Is this a known issue? new cards?

Mister Slimm - gbpvr gives us info about future recordings, in progress recordings and completed recordings, for which many thanks.

But what about playback? What would be great would be tokens for title, start and end times...

And can you add the ability to reverse the order of lists of items so the that newest were at the top? Thanks!

I thought I had all of my problems fixed but my PVR250 is acting up now. When I try to record or watch tv with the PVR250, it does not work. The logs say that GBPVR failed to find the tvtuner filter. Unfortunately I have no idea how to fix that.

I have verified that the order of the capture devices is correct and that the drivers are installed (using the latest on the hauppauge website). I have cleared all of the drivers in my system and reinstalled them with no luck. I also ran the re-register filters.bat with no luck.

I have zipped and attached all logs including the filtercheck log too.

I cannot access the setting menu, just falls back to main menu, any ideas?

My store bought pvr lets you pick first run of a show, or all showings.
Is there a plug in for this so it doesn't pickup all the repeats in gbpvr?

Also, since I only got it running yesterday, if there is multiple showings of the same show, will it create multiple entries, or just not record recognizing it is the same show?
That is like Stargate plays onces at 9pm, then repeats at11pm.
Will there be 2 stargates or just one?

I'm using a Philips 300i and suffering issues which I believe are to do with the Philips unit, so looking at either the MVP ot NMT, but which file format do you normally use, and what network connection. The Philips is hard wired, which I feel has to be better than wireless.

Also which unit is generally seen as better the NMT or MVP?

Hey everyone, I've got another one...
When I go to play a DVD within GBPVR, all I get is a black screen. I can back out to the main menu, but I get no sign of life from the DVD playback...

I can easily play a DVD under Cyberlink PDVD6 and VLC has no issues, but no dice with GBPVR. Regular TV works fine, as does conventional video playback from the hard drive.

I've got VMR9 Custom as my Video renderer, cyberlink as my video decoder, audio decoder and audio renderer for MPEG2 and the same under the DVD tab.
