The playback graph is built and runs correctly and the gbnetradio-X.mp3 file is created and can be played using an external media player.
Drive I: is a local NTFS drive and the folder is the user's normal GB-PVR recordings folder. The OS is Vista but I know of at least two Vista users who don't have problems. What could be the reason for an 'Object reference not set...' exception with PlayAudioFile()?
my wife sceduled a recording (beim ersten mal). Trying to watch (still recording), nothing happens, black screen. alt-f4 to close pvrx2, gbpvr tray show tuners sleeping. restart pvrx2: the record is neither shown under pending nor in the recording finished screen but still marked as record(ing) in the guide (tv listings plug-in). But gbpvr tray still xlaims tuners are sleeping.

I've noticed that recording in HD (NZ DVB-T) generates a time line cap of 12 minutes 48 seconds. Once the recording passes this, the jump forward commands etc are based around the 12:48 mark (jump forward takes you back!!). You can still guestimate by clicking on the bar.
Not a problem when recording off the analogue tuner.
Hello. I just downloaded GB-PVR and trying to get my tuner to work with it. QAM scan seems to find some channels, but I cannot find my card in the Analog list. There are some channels in my area that are transmitted in analog but not digital, so I'd like to have both. Wiki describes how to add an "unsupported card" to the .ini file for digital tuners, but not analog. My card is mpeg2 compatible so it should work just fine. Attached is my FilterCheck log file.
I checked the wiki and the posts on this and did not get a warm and fuzzy about this card. I would like to get some input before I open the package. I got it from Best Buy and have Vista Home Premium 64bit and a new HP entertainment laptop.
Does this card work with OTA Hi-def and Analog cable? I have two other systems running Hauppauge cards (1600 and 1800) but these are desktops and I wanted a laptop in my bedroom so any input would be great.
I am interested in converting the mpg to divx or xvid overnight using a queue or right after a show is recorded. I tried to use the built in function in config but results were horrible. How do I change the bitrate or quality settings? I know it is in config.xml but what exact settings to I need to change? Can I resize?
Also, i have heard about script's out there that will automate this task as well, with possibly better results. People mention a script from Stattik but I can't find it. Can someone give me a link?
I'm using a Hauppauge HVR-1300 with a PAL-I analog signal.
What I find is that the bottom of the picture is cropped when playing in GBPVR, though I get a complete picture in WinTV.
I've done some searches and come up with the idea of aspect ratios, so I've tried pressing F7 a few times, but regardless of which screen shape I choose, but this doesn't help . The same amount of picture is squashed or stretched to fit the changing aspect ratios, but the bottom of the picture remains cropped.
HI, I am using a 16:9 plasma with pvrx2. When I view standard def shows in full screen mode the typical vertical black bars are present on each side of the signal. I understand why this is happening but I was wondering if there was a way to force pvrx2 to use all of the screen ( at the expense of distorted aspect ratio) while displaying SDTV signals. The reason being is that I am starting to see vertical bar burn in. This is not a problem when viewing 1080p content. Unfortunately we only receive about 9 HD channels the rest being SDTV. Any help would be appreciated
I have a Dvico FusionHDTV Dual Express PCIe TV dual-tuner card in my desktop PC. I can't seem to get GB-PVR working with it for some reason, although it does work with the bundled FusionHDTV software (in both digital and analog modes). I have set things up for Melbourne, Australia, but the channel scan does not produce any channels at all.
