could you help me to get my card to work with gb-pvr. I didn't find it from the supported hardware list, and neither from the forum. I have attached filtercheck log and live in Finland (if this information helps
At the moment my window will not let me size it to anything but a 4:3 shape. If I get it so that channels are looking right by F7ing to letterbox, I have dead space in the window that I dont like.
Is there a way to get the window to be either 16:9 or else freely sizable to any aspect (like every other media player) but still have the aspect correct when I fullscreen it? I have a 4:3 monitor if it matters. ideally I dont want to have to F7 many times between fullscreen and a window to get it looking right.
I am ok if 4:3 stuff is postagestamped since there is so little of it now and I am windowed most of the time anyway.
Has something changed with the command line arguments -OnlyEmptyEPG
and -UpdateEPGOnly?? I used to be able to schedule to start GBPVR from the command line in the night and run these two commands, but this doesn't seem to work anymore. I need a regular flush as the EPG gets really muddled quite quickly even though I have 're-load EPG' checked in config. Of course I can do it manually in config, but this is a chore and not possible to do when I accessing remotely (I think)
A couple of queries, Is it possible to use the DVD option in GB-PVR to select and play DVD folders on a Hdd??. Was hoping to rip all the kids favourites to Hdd so the disks didn't end up wrecked!!
Also wanted to get the hardware acceleration on my HTPC's graphics card working for the NZ freeview DVB-T viewing. Will forking out for Cyberlink PowerDVD v8 or just the codec work in GB-PVR??? Is there a better option??
As usual, had a quick look through the wiki and forum, but have probably missed the obvious answers.
If I use the Escape key to exit a DVD any key I hit takes me back into the disk. It only happens once. After that, I can hit the right arrow button and then up arrow to change selections. I can use the mouse to bypass this issue and if I use the close button onscreen via PVRX2 the problem doesn't occur at all.

I've set permissions of the Shared folder to Full Control for:
Everyone
LOCAL SERVICE
NETWORK
NETWORK SERVICE
SYSTEM
Using the computer where GB-PVR is installed, I can create, copy, edit and delete folders and files on \\Server\Shared\test. I'm stumped as to why GB-PVR seems unable to create the files. I believe the GBPVRRecordingService is logged on as Local System.
I'm new to the BDA side of GBPVR. I am totally lost on how to setup my Twinhan 102G for BEV. Just regular 91/82 behind an SW21. No disecq. I have been reading posts for days here and at DVBN. I first tried mythtv using the following excellent howto. Had it all running in under an hour.
But I really like GBPVR better. First, I have no idea how to even setup the catpure source. Can someone that has this working please give me some steps to get this working? Once I figure it out, I hope to post a howto for any future users.
