I'm using the screen saver plugin, so this may be a question for that thread.
I'm using 2.6, Xtra Emulators. I launch a game successfully, but when the GB-PVR screen saver plugin starts the screen saver, GameZone appears to be terminating the emulator:
Also, whenever I launch an Xtra Emulators game containing an apostrophe, like Kirby's Adventure, the game doesn't load. Command line arguments are set to "%FILE%".
I tried version 2.8 of GameZone, but none of the Xtra Emulators games would launch at all, I get the following error:

Nothing major I'm afraid as I've been pretty busy with work recently. I have added the option to provide a different ONID (Original Network Identifier) to the one used in the UK. This may allow this to work in othere countries.
Other than that, it's mostly a bug fix release.

What folder in the gbpvr folder do I put the Shutdown files into for the latest version? This will be my first time using the Shutdown plugin and I don't know how to install it.
I am reasonably new to the PVR world, but have succeeded in getting everything to work except the MediaMVP. I will run GBPVR and brings up the main menue, but selecting LiveTV from the menu will black out the screen and that is the end o things until I reboot it.
Could this be dongle.bin issue? The instructions for GBPVR state that you can uninstall the Hauppauge MediaMVP software, which I did, but there is no dongle.bin on my drive anywhere.
Well kind of a strange problem. Yesterday I was working on installing some new plug-ins. I installed Comskip, comclean, and EWA. They all went off with out a hitch as far as I was aware. I follow the instructions on the wiki for EWA and deleted what was suggested in the web folder and replaced it with what I downloaded. Forwarded that port on my router to my PVR computer, everything worked perfectly from inside and outside my network.
Then a strange thing happened... I went to check all of my settings in the config, so I closed down PVRX2 and right clicked on the icon and went to start config. When I did this, the screen shot I attached popped up. It asked for the .MSI file to install but I did not have it downloaded so I clicked cancel, popped up an additional 2 times after. Config opens just fine after. Well it kept asking for the .MSI file every time I went into config, so I downloaded it and let it do what it was trying to do. Now what it does is runs through the install and the reverses itself, and it does this 3 times in a row. It also does this when trying to watch Live TV as well now. And since this happened, the EWA no longer works. Any ideas what it is trying to do and why?
I apologize if this is posted in other locatiions, but I have seen so many different responses to ths issue, that I would like to readdress it.
I have GBPVR installed. I have my system configured as instructions dictate, yet it won't play LiveTV. The GBPVR will record a show, just won't play LiveTV or display the settings in GBPVR.
I have read forums until I am blue in the face and still can't get it to play. People have suggested multiplexers, and a thousand other settings changes, but I am looking for an answer from someone who has had this issue and solved it.
I have channels loaded. My capture device is configured. I have my program guide set as well.
I am running XP Pro SP3 on a Pentium 4 (2.8 Ghz Hyper-threader). My video card is a Hauppauge HVR 1600 Analog.
I got GB-PVR goin on my old laptop and it looks and sounds great on the laptop monitor. TV guide is working, recording is working, Im really happy with the program.
I guess the problems Im running into, (which I guess have nothing to do with GB-PVR) is that I'm getting these quick diagonal lines moving throughout the whole screen as well as audio interference when the screen colors change.
First, the video..
I'm sending from my laptop an S-VIDEO to a RF modulator to coax. Resolution on the source is at 800x600 with a 60hz. I love the way the video looks on the screen, but I really cant stand it on the TV. The TV is a bit aged (as you could guess from the use of the rf modulator).. Also, I got a pretty low-grade s-video cable. I think I opted for the cheapest one off amazon.
Where should I start in terms of diagnosing that problem? Is it likely that it could be the cable?
In regard to the audio, this is confusing the hell out of me. The TV will sometimes buzz, but it has nothing to do with what's being inputted into the modulator. I can disconnect the audio cables completely and Ill hear the same buzz. It seems to happen when the screen colors change, so I cant figure out how video is affecting audio. For example, I'll be watching a show and hear some buzz, the show will fade to black for commercial and for that second I'll hear silence.
I know its alot, but if anyone can give me any ideas, Id really appreciate it.
Although my DVB-T GBPVR box is working like a star at the moment. I have a week off work towards the end of the month and I was thinking about updating my GBPVR box for freesat.
I am particulary interested in how people have been getting on with BBC HD and ITV HD channels. The programmes that are listed look pretty dull to me however I do believe match of the day is in HD which would be good.
Hardware wise I only have one PCI Express slot on my motherboard and would prefer a dual DVB-T and DVB-S2 card. I was thinking a Black Gold BGT3540 but it would appear that it doesn't do DVB-S2 just DVB-S.
Also on the hardware front I am running a Pentium M 1.6mhz (which i could upgrade to a2.0ghz). Graphics card wise I have an ATI 3450 which plays back HD material that I have downloaded fine. However ffw and rrw are stuttery but settle down after a second of two. However I am not sure it will cut it with a live TV stream.
Any ideas what it is trying to do and why?
