I have noticed that there have been a few posts recently with suggestions for the Community Skin, so maybe we could shake things up . Below are a couple of suggestions that I think are easily achievable and could help make the Community Skin more accessible and easier to maintain.
A default theme for the Community Skin
I'm wondering if there is any interest in some members getting together and producing a default theme for the Community Skin? Perhaps those more comfortable with graphics doing that and those more comfortable with formatting taking the opportunity to review the formatting, with others willing to offer feedback and maybe try different layouts?
Having HD and SD themes (i.e 1080p HD widescreen graphics and SD 4:3 720x480 graphics)
Since I started messing around with graphics and themes for the CS3, I've been really disappointed in how poor everything I've done so far has looked on my SD CRT TV. This was compounded recently when, after I (effectively) finished a new theme which I thought looked pretty good on my HD LCD computer monitor, I loaded it up on my CRT TV and it all fell apart, all the subtleties were lost and it looked a bit of a mess.
One installer which contains the Community Skin, (HD+SD) default theme and the Community Skin plugin.
This would make the Community Skin easier to maintain. It would really just be updates for compatibility, because the default theme and the plugin would remain pretty constant. Additional themes and graphics could then be downloads (on the wiki) maintained by their creators. These could be simple zip files with a script (?) that copies the relevant files to the "...Plugins\SkinPlugin\Resources" folder.
Hi, went to watch a dvb-t channel (livetv) and after a few seconds of stuttery playback the image froze and the meter for signal strength/quality appeared (indicating no strength or quality).
PVRX2 would not respond to mouse clicks of the keyboard - it was completely hung.
I've seen this sort of hang quite a few times. Can PVRX2 be made a bit more robust so that it doesn't hang when the signal drops to zero?
Hi, I have several recurring recordings set up (eg one which is monday-friday at 7pm every week, and another at 9pm every thursday). I've just found that recordings for the last two days have not happened and I don't know why.
There is no 'failed' recording in the recent recordings list; no mention of the failed recordings anywhere. [Sub said the only time a recording is listed as 'failed' (eg) under recent recordings is if the device was busy; a bit grim if the recording failed for some other reason (how am I meant to know why).]
The only factor I can think of which may have caused this is that I get my epg via xml import (rather than broadcast) and my PC had been 'offline' for over a week, so the epg was out of date. But I cannot see why this would matter because the recordings-recurring list shows the time of the recording, channel and name, so why would it matter if the epg data is current or not? It's irrelevant.
I followed the install info. But plugin for Netflix will not even start. I only get this error. I've tried the changing from full screen mode to windowed in the config and nothing.

is there any way to play the xbox with GP-PVR i have input jacks im my computer and im just wondering how to view them it worked with windows media center but i accidentally deleted it and they wont give it back now.
I seem to be having a problem changing the priority of my reoccurring programs. Currently, there are 18 programs in there. I can move the first five (positions 1 - 5) around amongst themselves without any problems. If I try to move any of the top five to the sixth position, they automatically get shoved all the way to the bottom of the list. If I move position six up or down, that works only in the top 6 positions (it will not go to position 7). Hitting FF or RW below position 6 does nothing except move the current highlighter position up or down. The priorities of these programs stay the same. Anyone else having this problem?
I have a relatively new build of GBPVR, and I can't make Music Library work at all. Whether I run it from the PC or from the MVP, it crashes. On the PC, PVRX2 hangs and I have to close it with task manager. I just did it again and attached the logs.
