Anyone knows if there's a way to change channel order in GB-PVR?

I use Schedules direct in canada, I also have Muchmusic listed twice under MUCH and MUCHMUSIC but it is only listed twice in the software itself, not in the config page, neither in the Capture source or channel tab. I've used the channel logo tool (terrible tool btw, it has crashed numerous times, sorry to the creator of the tool, it work though).

Like the subject says, I would also like to be able to reorder the EPG, I don't understand the order it uses, definitly not channel number or names.

Hi, prolly should raise this over at popcorn forums since its related to native playback.

But should we be able to skip, time seek, ffwd nz dvb-t (HD) with the ac3 stream?

I'm thinking of a recorded program, not chase play or live tv....

I try ffwd, and on release it reverts to start of video, and I get the exclamation mark on timeseek button, or right dpad option that normally starts the skip for 30 seconds...

First of all I want to thank sub for this awesome software!

Sorry it's something I've missed but when I want to watch TV, I don't have sound. Then I press the pause button, then unpause it and I get sound. Is this a normal behaviour?

And there's one other thing. When I click on the Settings in PVRX2, it show briefly 2 choices on my left (General, Playback) then it disapear. It didn't do that before 1.2.9.13 or is it my HD-PVR (I updated the software and installed the HD-PVR simultaneously). I don't remember what's in these settings.

Hi, I have a new GBPVR setup (latest version). I tried my first recording last night; it seems to have worked well but when I play it back, after several minutes pvrx2 GPFs. It's done thing several times, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 1-2 minutes.
Each time it crashed I restarted then fast-forwarded to just before the crash (and it would play past this point), but eventually die again. After eventually getting through about 20 minutes, I gave up.
I had a quick glance at the gbpvr logs but nothing stood out (but a trained eye may spot something!).

Any suggestions?

I have it running LiveTV almost all the time, and when I change over to it's input, it invariably has dropped out of LiveTV back to the main menu.

I have been using GBPVR for some time and I had been one machine as both a back end (record video) and front end (Playback). The problem is two fold. I think it noisy (and I have done a ton of work on fixing this) and it seems clunky and limited.

I friend who uses Myth told me he does front end/back end with two different machines which lead me to do some searching of the forum.

Would getting a Hauppauge MVP be a good front end alternative? I have ripped most of my DVD (40+) into MPEG2 VOB files using DVDDecrypter so I prefer not to translate them all, I would like to watch what I record though we do not do a ton of that.

Has someone tried this approach and could give me some feedback before I spend $ and or get grilled by the wife. Anything to keep the interface simple is a great help for my wife and my sanity.

I have a Galaxy 3500 IPTV which I guess could also work as a front end but lacks some of the "niceness" interface that GBPVR does.

I had not noticed this until my wife pointed it out. When we are watching Live TV, we can not pause it. When you hit the Pause button, it goes back to the TV Guide. I checked the Configuration and I have "Use Live Preview Mode" and "Return From Timeshift Mode" both Checked. I have had the same settings since 0.99.

Any suggestions on why this is happening?

I recently installed v1.2.13 am having a problem getting one channel (79). When I go to channel 79, it is almost like I am getting some other channel, but it is scrambled so I don't get a picture and very little sound. I ran the Tuning Assistant and it shows the channel just fine.

How can I get the channel numbers in the TV Guide? I set <TVGuideChannelHeaderType>2</TVGuideChannelHeaderType> in config.xml as suggested in the FAQ, but I still do not get the channel numbers.

When first going to Live TV or when pausing a channel for the first time, the screen goes black for about 5 seconds. It then works fine. If I exit Live TV, then go back into it, the channel comes up almost immediately. I do have Live Preview Mode checked in config.

I am using a pvr-150 on a 1.10GHz AMD Athlon XP machine with 512MB RAM.

I've been trying to get DVB-T radio plugin working today to no avail.
I've downloaded all the latest versions from the wiki and registered them all. I've read through the big thread with various problems and not found any solutions there...

I get the 'scanning for channels' dialog but then nothing.

I'm using Windows XP Service Pack 3 on a P4.
I have a hauppauge hvr3000 that includes a dvb-t and dvb-s tuner.

Any suggestions?
Should I send you a log? Which one?
