I am running the latest version of gbpvr but this problem has been going on for awhile with me. When I first go to watch live tv the video stutters and there is no audio. If I hit stop on my remote and exit out of live tv mode and then go back into live tv mode everything works fine. This happens all the time when I first go into live tv mode. After I exit live tv and go back in it plays fine everytime I go into live until I exit gbpvr or my computer goes into standby, then I have to do it over again in order for it to play correctly. It does not do this when watching recordings. I just duplicated the problem and included are the logs.

I believe I have discovered a small visual bug with the main menu. If I select an item from the main menu and then return to the main menu. The selected item is no longer highlighted and is now displayed in the same font size as all other menu items. It does not happen everytime. It appears to be intermittent. I am running 1.2.13 with Community Skin 3.2.2 with BlueMCE2 theme. So far I have only observed this on the PC. I have not observed this on MVP. I do not know if the problem exists there or not.

I have GBPVR installed with my PCH.
Everything seems to work fine.
Except one major problem. There is no content available when I hit the Photo, Video or Music button on the PCH home screen.
In the config I refer to another netwerk share map where to find the photo-, video- and musicfiles.
What do I wrong?

I’m having problems with the EPG update for D!sh as it hangs with 1 second left on TP12486. Note that this TP has the D!sh EPG on it and can be around 32MB.

I have no problems with BEV, but their EPG is only 6MB in size.

Could this be an indication that it is choking on the large amount of EPG data? Unfortunately, the log is mostly greek to me.

great work done here! i was so happy when i got to know about gb-pvr and its use of the mediaMVP... but right now - after a few hours of trouble - i got stuck and hope you can help me out

for short: gb-pvr does fine on my laptop watching recorded files & live-tv. on the MVP it works with the menu und recorded files BUT NOT with live-tv however:-( all it does when pressing the live-tv-button is crashing the trans2MVP.exe with a black tv-screen and after a few seconds a reboot of the mediamvp-client.

system:
dell inspiron 9200
centrino 2 ghz, 1,25 gm ram
winXP sp3
gb-pvr 1.2.13
logs in zip-file enclosed - hope ok this way?

I`m bored of continuos crash of MediaPortal so I`m looking for alternatives so I have installed GB-PVR 1.2.13.

I cannot tunne any channel with any card (Pinnacle PCTV Dual DVB-T and Avermedia A16AR). Of course they tune well with other software. I live in Madrid, Spain

Hello, I'm considering getting FiOS, and was wondering how quickly the SD STB can switch between 2 channels. Is there any channel change speed difference between the Digital Adapter (DCT700) and the standard STB (QIP2500)?

Also, anyone had any luck using the serial port to change channels?

Need input on my new build fpr OTA HD and SD from my Dish STB. I'm willing to buy a better CPU, but I have an old AMD 3800+ Venice single core sitting around. Will it be powerful enuf to playback HD without too much heat? It's 89W. Plan to use the HVR-1600 tuner. I don't have a video card or ATX mobo picked yet, so any suggestions for those two parts will be appreciated. Thx!

Basically I am getting 3 different results. For RECORDED SD files I am getting exactly what I want using ffdshow as the decoder. I am using "warped resize." For live SD I am just getting a standard 4:3 video. For live/recorded QAM HD I am getting lots of black space around the image. I don't get this with the Cyberlink codec. Is there a way to use different codecs for each of these situations? Or am I missing something?
