Hi,

I found a little bug in guide.aspx as well as in guide2.aspx regarding the channel names: There is a channel named "3sat" which is stored as channel number 3. In the TV guide overview, it is displayed as "at". On the details page it is displayed correctly as "3sat". I haven't tried yet moving it to another channel number, so don't know, if channel names starting with numbers are a problem in general or if it is this special case that the channel name starts with the number of the channel number.

Hi,

After some configuration I am almost completed in setting up my tuner card with GBPVR. I do have a few issues though:

1. I cant get to the 'Settings' screen through GBPVR, the settings screen appears then quickly goes back to the main screen.

2. I have no picture on either the Config or Live TV. I have installed ffdshow however still no joy, my configuration looks like the screenshot attached (gbpvr.jpg).

3. The remote doesnt work, I have Hauppauge remote, do I need to install the Hauppauge remote application or does GBPVR manage that for me? I have read both answers.

I'm not sure if this is relevant but my tray icon is showing a white arrow circling round on a black circle background. Sometimes it has been the icon of the TV. Which is correct?

is there any way to run a fsck on the internal drive?
i have some file weirdness going on and now it won't show up at all..
pretty sure just file system related...ext fs tho can't remember if ext2 or 3..

btw, i have llink jukebox running with info from gbpvr database..
[from usb drive thankfully]
and telnet auto-from index.htm, after which it auto-loads index2.htm
[so like pseudo auto-start for telnet with just index.htm, could even load gaya page after]

i thin i didn't wait long enough for file to be written before running it..:o

Just installed 1.2.13 and it was working so well, I decided to improve my remote from RW (which has always been a pain to configure) to a MCE. It works well, need to config a few different buttons, however, if we are watching a recording , and hit FFW or Skip forward (or matching RW) a couple of times, the program freezes and I need to kill it from Windows.

Since I never had this working well the RW, I am not sure if the problem lies with 1.2.13 or the remote. To me it seems like message queue is getting overwhelmed with FFW messages, but I have noticed it freezing with as little a two key presses in a 1 second time intervals. There is not much to configure in the driver, not that I expected much from Microsoft.

Any ideas? Would HIP be a good idea to install (which I was going to so I could configure some missing buttons), but I did not want to mix the pot even more?

i found that you can auto-load a page after running a script with meta-tags..
only catch is you have to approx. count the output for the output length..
[either >/dev/null any output or keep it predictable length]
also, gotta use single quotes to be able to output quotes..' "test" '= "test"

so you can run the telnet script,it shows output, then automatically reloads the page you came from... [with selectable timeout to see results]

I have a WinTv-HVR 950, however gbpvr does not recognize it and it is not listed in the drop down list, however the HVR 900 is, but if I select that it says the drivers are not installed.

I like to play my video games through the Live TV, but the video sometimes freezes while the audio continues just fine. I have to exit the program and restart it to get it working again, but then it just freezes again. Sometimes I can go a half hour, but other times it'll freeze after a few seconds. I've got the Hauppauge 150MCE tuner and I removed the second buffer in the settings so I could play live. I have a duel core 2.0GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM. I do not have a video card. I just use the integrated card on the motherboard. Would that be the problem?

Edit: I use 1.2.13, I'm running Vista, and I think that's what is needed. If you need logs or anything else just ask.

My problem is that I can't get gbpvr to recognize my Twinhan 102G.

I have the card working in dvbdream, beautifully. The shows up as "DTV Video Controller" in the device manager. I have tried a bazillion times to get it to use these so-called bda drivers that are out there, without success. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the card many, many times and used every bda download for the 878 from the twinhan site. I have even tried to use the bda driver from MT but it always installs as the DTV video controller.

When I set it up in GBPVR, I select the Direct Recording Plugin and have selected every Twinhan card listed when clicking on the settings button. It might be important to note that after I click ok and get back to the main Capture Sources screen, it displays as the BDA Recording Plugin. When try to launch the "Map the channels" button, it pops up a dialog box that says that it can't find my card

I am at a loss. I see that some folks have the 102G working in gbpvr. I have bailed twice already and tried other media centers but I really want to use gbpvr because I feel it is a superior product. And I really do not want to go out and buy a new card just because I can't seem to get it to recognize this card.

Can someone please walk me through their "proven" installation of a Twinhan 102G card? Please don't say, it should work or someone told me this would work. I have read a lot of posts and I just want to see it work for real.

Titel says it all, no.

When tying to play MP3 files in the audio library, it wil only play Stereo CBR files and NOT J-Stereo CBR.
Some even say it wont play VBR files but i cannot comfirm this yet.

Im using latest version of GBPVR. and i installed K-lite codecs full version
Is there any way to solve this issue?
