Yes, I know that hardware drivers have to be 64 bit for the 64bit OS to use the capture card, but does GBPVR run on 64 bit machines?

Everything appears to be working except that I am missing a couple channels, KEYEDT in particular. I get two of the 4 channels at that frequency and the GBPVR log even shows the other two in the Transponder list in the log file but they are not available to be mapped.

I am able to tune all of these channels using the HDHR setup application.

Drive Z is a network mapped drive. If I config it to a local drive (such as C), it works flawlessly. Can GBPVR recording service record to a non-local drive? I don't see why it can't.

Two quick questions for people who know more about this than I:

One of my usages of GBPVR is to have a stock of childrens shows on hand, so that when my kids want to watch TV, we can have some nice control over what they're watching. As such, I record a number of kids shows, and have a small issue I'd like some help with.

When I go to record a specific show, and choose all episodes on this channel, on any day (or whatever the verbage is) I get a "Failed" message, yet the recurring event does show up, and some episodes are flagged to record and show up in my pending list. These seem to be episodes that have not yet had episode-specific information delivered.

Now that GBPVR supports a more granular level of transcoding, I would like to start over with recording some of these shows, record at a higher quality setting, and then have GBPVR work its magic to make me XVIDs overnight.

Given all that, here's what I'm wondering about. I presume that under-the-covers, there is some way that GBPVR knows what it has recorded in the past, episodic information,etc. So I would like to keep the recordings I have now (maybe not episodic information, but want to keep them available). So I guess the question is, is there a way to purge the episode-specific information about specific shows, to allow re-recording of these episodes?

Second question - I'm finding myeslf in codec hell. I'm trying to get my codecs in order. I have some old DIVX files (not XVID) available for the kidlets. I had AC3Filter installed, after reading wiki, i've uninstalled it and gone with FFDSHOW. I'm using VMR9 (I think, I've been playing with the settings) with ffdshow as codec for both video and audio decoders. I have a license for Nvidia PureVideo (or whatever that codec is called) so I could use that, I've tried different combinations with little success). I was having an issue with sound only coming out of the right channel, so I switched to WaveOut which solved that problem, but it seems to have created another. As the video progresses, the video and audio synch gets progressively worse. Earlier today it was so bad that my 4-year old asked "me to fix the TV, its broken". Any suggestions?

If I update firmware for the HDHomeRun, do I need to redo them in the config app?

I have previously tried to install 1.2.9 to upgrade from 1.1.5, However at the time I ran into a minor issue and reverted back to 1.1.5 (probably through replacing the whole gbpvr directory).

I am now trying to go up to 1.2.9 (before moving to 1.2.13) but whenever I start the installer, for some reason it thinks I already have 1.2.9 and only gives me 3 options: modify, repair and uninstall. I tried modify and repair, but neither installed 1.2.9. I checked the registry and it shows 1.1.5 under LastknownversioninUse.

How can I upgrade to 1.2.9 without uninstalling? Thanks for your help

I saw the thread on the wish list and look back at the change log for mvpmc dongle that has the parental control. I search this forum but I don't see much discussion about how to set it up with mvpmc dongle. Can you give some instructions about how to use it?

Can you provide support for the new Dvico Fusion HDTV7 Dual Express for both ATSC and QAM? This is a dual HDTV tunner card. I can get GBPVR to work with a single tuner (no PIP or dual recording support) using the HDTV5 gold ATSC only and this does work for over the air, but I would like access to non-encripted QAM and dual tuner.

Is there a simple way to install the drivers into GBPVR? or can you do this with your next update? The drivers can be found at http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/ENG/Download/Software.aspx

I am in the USA using a ATI HD3650 video card, Dell P4 2.66 duo cor and the Fusion HDTV Dual Express tunner card (PCI express port) with MCE remort (Fusion remote).

I also have installed GBPVR v1.2.13 and it works fine, but how do you get the program guide to a different day and time? I have a SD account set up.

This is the only advice I have gotten, but I don't know how to add the files:
You have to update the software and drivers on Fusion HDTV. also you have to manual add the tuner inside the BDA.ini and Digital.ini files.

This still does not say if it will work with QAM

GB-PVR is a great program, but what would make it better is that it should have an 'instant record' button in the controls when you are watching the TV or a hotkey button. I used this feature massively when I used the default software that came with my Freecom DVB-T USB stick.

Any ideas?

I am using the turbo graphix emulator (as mentioned elsewhere).

My problem is more with the emulator (HuGo) I think, but I was wondering if anybody else figured it out.

When the emulator starts, it takes over the screen (screen flashes to black) but then the picture takes up only the center 50% of the screen. I tried the two screen resolutions available to me (800x600 and 1024x768) and had the same results.

This happens when I go directly into the emulator, or through GameZone.
