I am having loads of grief with writing Date and Time into an AccessDB always a mismatch, has anyone done this before with a piece of code?

Google turns up quite a few hits but all seem to be workarounds by changing the field to a text, for now so I can move on I have done this bit I need to sort in descending order this could have been achieved by a simple query now its a pain in the @ss

I am using iPluginHelper AddAudioFileToQueue and would like to know which type of audio files it supports, I know it supports mp3 & wav, what others?.
Also does a plugin needs to read in an m3u playlist and add each track to the queue or is there built in support for this that I have not found?

I've successfully used GB-PVR with my PVR-150 and HVR-4000 on analog TV and DVB-S. Now Freeview has started I've been getting the DVB-T running.

I've installed DVD8 and the monogram codec for H.264 etc.

Everything is good when I scan. It finds

When I select channels in the "Channels Found During Scan" list I can easily swap between TVOne, TV2, TV3 as many times as I like. No problems. When I choose another channel like C4 I get sound for a couple of seconds (no picture) and then it hangs. Task Manager is needed to stop GB-PVR Configuration. The same thing happens if I use PVRX2 to select channels.

BTW I have a GT 8500 card and the hardware acceleration seems to be working fine. < 15% CPU load.

Any ideas? Logs attached.

Can you force Live TV recordings to be at a higher quality setting than the normal default for recordings?

My mom recently bought a laptop that had an mce remote and transceiver included. I am attempting to use the remote/transceiver on my gbpvr box (windows XP Pro /w Media Center).

The device is recognized by the OS as an eHome transceiver and shows no problems but when i try to use the mce remote to traverse through GB nothing happens. In fact the remote does not work in Media Center either.

Are there some special drivers or applications that i must also install to get the MCE remote to work?

Im thinkinig that maybe the remote/transceiver combo only works with hardware included in the laptop it originally came with.

ok, so on thursday nights, there are 3 shows I want to record all on the same channel from 8-9, 9-9:30 & 9:30-10.

Is there something I have to do to set this up to record all of the shows properely (pre/post padding options?) so that I don't get my stb info coming up before every show? (gbprv changes channel before recording). Can gbprv make this into 1 recorded file and than split them?

My questions relates to recording ATSC from the Hauppauge 1600 and how performance might be on an older computer/play back

I am planning on adding a 1600 to my HTPC and using in for over the air digital. My current computer config is

P4 2.8Gh
1 gig ram
winxp media center (using GBPVR)
Abit Siluro FX5200 DT, (128 MB) AGP 8x Video Card
Currently Hauppauge pvr 150 (hope to add 1600 to the lineup)

I am a newbie when it comes to the digital world and would love some clarification and help.

Question one,

What is the file extention when recording from the Hauppauge 1600 for ATSC, is it .ts? Is this customizable in gbpvr, ie just straight mpeg4? This is the most confusing thing to me as there are muliple file formats for HD and this is what i am mostly wanting to record. So any help explaining this would be great, especially the file format part and how it relates to GBPVR and playback.

Quesiton 2
I do not plan on playing this back on this particular computer but plan on streaming to my Popcorn Hour (PCH), or other computer more capable, will it be possible to record on this computer, without any video issues, to then be able to stream and play back on PCH or more capable comp.

Question 3,
If i wanted to play back on this older computer, what would i need to make sure i had without having to upgrade computer to basically new. If all it needs is a better video card thats not too bad.

I have been using GBPVR for a little while now and had everything setup quite nicely using WinXP and a Lacie networked disk (EDmini) to store the recordings. The XP system was part of the local Windows domain.

I had to rebuild all my systems and decided to take the plunge into Vista. I took the latest version of GBPVR and read up on using it under Vista. Everything went fine while I used a local folder to store the recordings. Then I decided to finalize the install and set the recording path to the networked Lacie disk. I can access it using \\lacie\videos no problem...read, write.

But GBPVR cannot create any files on the Lacie disk. I ran Wireshark to monitor the network and try to determine what's happening. GBPVR never even causes a packet to be sent to it.

The Vista system is not part of the domain...but that doesn't seem to matter since I can access the network storage no problem from the command line. Also, there are no entries in the system or application event logs.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be happening here? Is there any way to run GB-PVR in a command box as opposed to a service?

I have been using GBPVR for years now and I love it. I just closed on a new house and am trying to set up an LCD HDTV in my bedroom, which is one floor above my office. My computer will be in the office.

One of the nicest things about my new house is that I finally have QAM, so I can record HD programs. Now, I want to stream those recordings to the TV in my bedroom over the wireless-N network. As far as I can tell, I have a few options, but none of them seem like slam dunks. Here is what I've come up with:

1. Additional Computer.
I could build another computer and keep it in the room. I figure this would probably cost around $300-400 in order to have enough horsepower to play HD video.

2. Network Media Player.
I've been looking at these alot lately, and each one has its own drawbacks. The D-Link products require a Viiv processor and aren't available in wireless N. The Linksys products do come in N, but require Windows Media Center and Vista (don't use either). The netgear lineup looks the most promising- it has wireless N and works with XP. I just don't know if it plays all of GBPVRs formats. It costs $300. EDIT: The netgear is only G, not N. So there goes that idea.

3. Monitor Mirroring
This setup would be the most exciting, but the most difficult. It would require me to run wires through the wall to hook up my TV directly to my computer. I would need to use a USB KVM extender at least, and either run a monitor cable, buy a USB graphics adapter for $150, or convert the monitor to component with a $100 converter and run 5 rca-style wires. Total cost would be anywhere from $100-$250 for all of the wires and supplies, but it would take days and days of my time, and I've never done anything like it before. My room is diretly above my office though, so it is a possibility.

4. Laptop:
Just hook up my laptop to the tv when I want to watch something. This is the least elegant but the easiest since I already have all of the necessary cables.

I'm trying to make my new room really nice, so I'm installing the LCD flush on the wall and hiding all of the wires in the wall. I really want to keep it clean no matter what I do, so the laptop and desktop solutions kind of go against that feeling. I think I can wire up a network media player to look nice though.

Any thoughts? I really don't want to spend more than $300, and would prefer to spend less than that.
