I'm using an S-video out on my card to an SD TV set. I'm am getting tearing around the middle of the screen, but only during fast scenes and only localized to the fast area (but always near the middle vertically.)
This comes up on a few movies I have, how can I make it stop? I believe it comes up on movies that have some kind of splitter issue, but I never really noticed anything when I finally view them. How can I get rid of it? It hijacks PVRX2 and doesn't let me do anything.
I really like the option to delete now I don't have to drag out the keyboard to delete something. Would it be possible to ask for a password as an option to prevent my 5 year old from deleting things that should not be. Some how they always find the combination of buttons to break things
My system is setup with a Hauppauge HVR-4000 with freeviewHD on the DVB-T and the analogue just for Prime. When attempting to watch prime it takes two attempts on selecting watch from the guide for prime to appear. When attepting to record prime everything works correctly except that at the end of recording there is no file. Attempting to watch the program while recording does not work either.
I've been using gbpvr without a tuner sucessfully for a while with the 1.2.9 release. I bout a nova-t 500 dual tuner card and installed it ok. Live tv works, and I an record etc. The problem comes with time-shifting. If I pause live tv, there's a black screen for about 5 seconds. It then goes tothe paused view (and says paused briefly in the top right-hand corner). If I then press play, it starts again. If I press pause then then play again, the audio goes out of sync with the video - about 2 seconds ahead. If I then press pause and play again, it just hangs.
The main points then are:
1. 5 second initial delay on a pause
2. audio out of sync
I've attached the logs, which seem ok and my config files.
I've got the tuners added as seperate devices (both with device number 1 but different names).
I'm also using the wintv IR software with the 45 button remote in case that makes a difference (I suspect not, but you never know!)
I have a small problem with timeshift. It works fine but after more 1 hour (or 1h30 I havn't the exactly time) of play, it stop and return to the main menu.
Is there a parameter wich say that timeshift size or timeshift time don't exceed a certain value.
I have regular bluray discs in the drive playing back perfectly via a custom menu for PowerDVD, but need to find a way to do the same for Bluraay ISOs stored on my server. I can playback regular DVD ISOs fine with Daemon Tools and just selecting the image in either the standard Video playback or MovieWiz etc. However because PVRX2 won't play bluray (except if remuxed to MKVs or somesuch) then I need a way to run the Daemon Tools mount followed by PDVD (and then unmount afterwards) when selecting a Bluray ISO from within PVRX2.
Any ideas? I'm so close to my perfect setup now, but I have to manually mount Bluray ISOs from the PC before selecting the custom menu PDVD item in PVRX2. (Oh for a Directshow filter that can playback Bluray menus and everything).
Example: if I want to check .avi, I have to click its checkbox twice. The 1st click selects the item, the 2nd click toggles the checkbox. It should do both operations with 1 click, which is standard Windows behavior. The Manage Categories tab allows clicking the checkbox of an unselected item, which selects the item and toggles the checkbox.
I'm trying to fix a rogue installation of GBPVR, but long ago deleted my MSI installer for gbpvr09709.MSI. Now the uninstaller is asking for that MSI to be able to remove it (grrr).
Anybody able to point me to a location that still has it?
