i have a sony bravia 4k tv and a intel nuc5i3ryh. while playing 4k films i noticed the nuc just can not manage it. i heard a friend saying he streams his 4k movies from his computer.
i tried to permit dlna on my windows laptop with i7 processor and to add it as a smb supply in kodi. it could discover the videos first-rate, but, it looks as if kodi handiest streams the movie to render it itself. as my nuc can't cope with this i would want to have my pc render it and stream it to kodi.
might this be viable and do i need to exchange some settings? or could i have to let kodi out of this factor and circulation at once to my television with dlna?
say we have digital cable and handiest one cable field inside the residence, am i able to set up a tv tuner card and get all the channels i can get at the cable container, or will i just get the fundamental cable 1-99? additionally any pointers on tv tuners?
I've just successfully installed ver 5 but one question. When a recording has completed and saved to it's designated folder, an XML file with recording information is created and saved too. I just delete it but I suspect it should be saved elsewhere.
Was wondering if anyone could help with the following error please?
On Windows 10 using NextPVR version 5.2.1.211003 (have attached logs).
Failed: An error occurred while sending the request. Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
This only started a couple of days ago, resulting in failed recordings.
I think it's in relation to a "Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD DVDT Tuner" which according to the NextPVR "devices" screen is now (unavailable). I can still "scan" for new channels using this device but trying to "stream" a channel results in "Failed to start requested stream".
Thank you in advance for any help anyone can offer.
Is there a file within NextPVR that's editable that has all the channel information on it?
I spend a lot of time changing channel numbers and mapping to Schedules Direct and then something changes in my IPTV URL and I have to re-map it all over again. If there was a database file I could just find and replace and would make it way quicker.
i can be having a raspberry pi 3, related to my television via hdmi, that is walking the latest libreelec construct, mounting a nice big nfs percentage from my nas, serving audio, video, and so on. the pi & television are related via wifi, the nas has a hardwire connecting to my router. does anyone see any problems, and many others, extra pointers, and so forth?https://omegle.onl/vshare
I had to re-install NextPVR v5 from scratch and everything is working fine, except I forgot how to configure the blasting. I'm using a Hauppauge Colossus 2 and a DirectTV STB. The IR Blaster is connected to the Hauppauge and STB, and I can change channels in WinTV10, so the basic setup is fine. But I'm having trouble getting the blaster to work in NPVR. I enter in C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\HaupBlast.exe and then type in {channel}, and then save.I think it set things correctly because I can see (HaupBlast.exe x) in the details column for each channel, where x = the channel number. But blaster remains inoperable...no red lights light up on the emitter.omeglexender
I am trying to fix a problem I have with some channels not being recorded
and while trying to watch them live using the web GUI, they do not work either.
Most of these channels work well when watched through the hdhomerun interface
which seems to call video VLC.
Many channels work properly when using the NextPVR 5 web GUI.
But on some channels, I can see the message at the bottom of the video
"Receiving Data (numbers are increasing)"
Then after a few seconds the following message appear or sometimes
the screen is just black:
"Browser blocked video playback"
One particular channel (10.1) is different. It works well using hdhomerun but
using the NextPVR 5 web GUI for that same channel, I can see the message
at the bottom of the video:
Starting Device. Please Wait...
Then after a few seconds a message appear:
Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)
I've been running NextPVR on an M1 Mac mini for a couple months (after installing all the .net versions as mentioned in a previous thread) and it's been stable. Until the last couple weeks it will crash regularly now in terminal with a .net termination error window popping up. Running MacOS 11.6 and the latest NextPVR server. Anyone else experiencing this?
