I've been using NextPVR 4 for sometime. All works well until satellite channels change. Then recordings don't work and the EPG doesn't get updated correctly.
I have an old Humax PVR and when channels change it tells me and asks me to do an update. All recordings continue to work etc.
Is there an equivalent for NextPVR?
Also, is there a service that I can signup to that tells me when satellite channels change? I'm in the UK and the first I know that something has changed is when recordings fail.
When watching a show comskip detects it properly. When playing back it begins to skip, but does not read the endpoint of the detection and keeps going. I have two sets of logs. One from last week. One from last night but pulled today.
I am currently running 4.25 and I *think* I have properly followed to steps to upgrade:
1) downloaded NPVRsetup.exe
2) shut down server (4.25)
3) run setup
What happens is it downloads the installation file and ends with "installation complete", however no web page opens up and when I restart nextpvr I am still running 4.25.
Please advise how to correct this. I am running windows 10 and 4.25 is working without issue.
If the installer creates a log, please direct me to its location and I will upload it.
I'm running NextPVR from a Win 7 server pc. My client device (Amazon Firestick) runs on Android and I'm using the Kodi app with it. I just recently installed the latest version of NextPVR to my server pc. Now, when I'm using NextPVR either from the server pc or the client, there's a lot of excessive buffering. Based on what I've observed, I think it's a networking issue that's affecting how live tv functions. I've used YouTube and Pluto in the same client, but the streaming in these two apps is ok. Any advice would be appreciated.
I just installed Nextpvr on my computer with a QuadHD usb tuner. The tuner shows up properly. But when I select an ATSC tuner and click on "Scan Channels"', the drop down Country/Region menu is blank. So I can't scan for channels. The tuner works fine with the Wintv app, but I don't want to use windows.
I've been experiencing a sudden change in channel while I've been watching either via the web UI or via Kodi. While on a channel, it would suddenly switch to a different channel without indicating via the UI. It would keep doing it until I reset the service. I couldn't find a pattern until recently.
I was watching a channel and it changed to a different one around the same time it was scheduled to do an EPG update.
Please see the relevant device logs below. I have a Hauppauge Dual HD USB Tuner. The first <tuning /> block is the channel I was watching when it happened. Any help is appreciated.

Was able to install and use very fast an easy with Kodi frontend!

Many IPTV vendors are enabling an online archives.
The duration of the archive can be different (3-14 days), but it gives you an ability to see any program withing enabled achrive period of time back.
Kodi simple IPTV PVR is able to stream any program from archive based on EPG data.
Is it possible to add such capbility to NextPVR?
I've searched through forum and web if it is possible to configure nextPVR to support it, but couldnt find anything, so it probably a new feature request .
