GBPVR is recording programs 1 hour later than they should be. I have my computer's time setup properly. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thank for any help.
Is there any way to play flv files directly in GB-PVR? I have the codec installed on my computer through K-Lite Codec pack, but GB-PVR is just not showing flv files when I'm browsing my folders in the video module.
im able to play sirius streams using usirius and ubustreams but it doesnt support vlc so i cant timeshift is there any other way possible i could get them to play on mvp?
using usirius and ubustream im able to now listen to sirius from gbpvr the streams dont play using vlc though so im not able to use time shiftmode and have them play on mvp. if anyone has any thoughts on getting them to play on mvp let me no. a sirius account is required.
I use the Nvidia decoder for GBPVR and while I rarely use Vista Media Center, it's quality is fine. A friend just upgraded to Vista Premium using the dvi connection and has awful picture quality and isn't really interested in trying new software (even a free one!) so I'm curious, does anyone know if Vista actually uses the Nvidia decoder? How would I tell?
This weekend I decided to give the EVR a try, since I can't get the VMR9 Custom to become tear-free and the VMR9 FSE still gives me wakeup problems.
Mpeg2 playback was excellent, although I would like the 'remove letterbox' option, that unfortunately is not possible with EVR (must be the negative aspect ratio). But I can live with that.
Then I found out that XVID (transcoded by GBPVR from MPEG2) playback does not work. The screen is green and/or inverted. I've tried different decoders (MPV and DScaler), with more or less identical results.
Now I'm back to VMR9 Custom. I guess the guest for a perfect image continues.
I have made a great deal of progress with a C# widget to insert recording_schedule requests from the DOS command line.
You advised that I would to run "pvrx2.exe -OnlyUpdateEPG" after inserting the row - is there a way to do the same sort of thing via the GBPVR plugin API - rather than doing a system call ?
My old setup with ASUS TV7133 and GBPVR 0.96, the tuner died on the card forcing me to buy a HVR1600 and update to 1.1.5 and I'm just having problems out the ass. First, I updated from 0.96 to 1.15 then had problems and I thought that was just broken code from updating from a severely out-dated version. so I did a fresh install in a different directory, doing a complete uninstall of the other copy before doing the install.
PVRX2 wasn't obeying the EPG when something was setup to record. Somehow I managed to fix it, I don't know how I did it, might have been the fresh install.
Doing stuff like moving up and down the menu cause the GUI part of PVRX2 to lock up, preventing me to see the desktop like crtl-shift-escape/delete or alt-tab, requires hard reset.
Watching recorded shows starting from the beginning without pausing it or FF or REW, everything works fine, then the minute you FF or REW or hell pause it then come back causes the audio to cut in and out or lags a little bit behind, and the picture is kind of skippy/jerky. * I personally think this is a decoder problem. Could someone recommend some decoders to me.*
Another thing is that the "KEYS" as in the buttons you push on the keyboard, the functions of PVRX2 don't obey or cause PVRX2 *not windows/system* to lockup so if you wanted to FF and press Ctrl+F it would either not do it or lockup. It does it randomly.
The system doesn't crash, thats if you're lucky to get to the desktop otherwise you're stuck looking at PVRX2 then you press ctrl+shift+escape or delete and see task manager pop up in the back of PVRX2 barely bleeding through, forcing you to reset the machine anyways.
The option "Use short skip instead of FF/REW" in misc is dead, as in it does nothing.
Few other things, but I can't remember them, so it must not be that big of issue.
