I've tried both pasting the member_token in LocastService.py and I've tried version 0.9.2 and neither have fixed this for me. I may have gotten things out of order by copying 0.9.2 into the locast folder and then later copying the LocastService.py that needs the member_token.
Running python3 locast.py tells me there is no locastService.py so I renamed the file from LocastService.py to locastService.py. Are we supposed to have both with an uppercase L and lower or ...?
Thanks!
Mike
EDIT: Deleted the scripts/locast folder and put 0.9.2 in and ran python3 lcast.py. First time through it said it couldn't modify existing lineup. Ran again and got this: (sorry for pasting here)
Namespace(base=None, default=None, format='smart', reverse=False, stream=False, tune=None)
None
extralocast v0.92

I'm pretty sure I posted about something similar a while ago but I can't find it - apologies!
Back then the issue was that the transcoder seemed to get disconnected from the player but continued running in the background and after a while you could have multiple transcoders running and run out of CPU cycles. This is not happening now.
Now, if I watch a programme which has either already started, or has finished recording and skip forward a few times to avoid commercials etc, at some point the stream will stop and not restart. I need to close it, go back in and play again.
The same thing can happen when watching live tv - it seems to me (but I may be wrong) that once it starts to happen, the frequency increases.
I had some idea that the web player was an open source project of its own which NPVR utilised, in which case nothing can be done here. I also don't use the web player too much so it's not a huge issue for me, just wanted to offer the feedback in case it helps. (It's been a month since I last used it for an extended period, so I doubt logs will still be there, but happy to provide if useful.
I installed 0.80 the other day and all seemed to work fine. But today, while doing some testing, (1) I found that I am unable to stream any locast channel (streaming failed message in the web client and a item failed to play message in Kodi), ..and..
(2) when looking at the locast channel group that I had previously setup in the web guide there are no channels listed in the guide, even though the group appears in settings>channels with all the correct locast channels checked. The locast channels do appear in the "All channels" list. On the other hand, the locast channels do show up in the locast channel group when using Kodi.
I see that the logs generated errors, but not sure why. I don't recall making any changes to the working configuration, but somehow I must of did something screwy but not sure what I did.
Even more than usual, I am lost as to why - any ideas?
A few days ago, my channel icons switched to show thumbnails in the guide...how do I get my channel icons back? This is occurring on all Kodi clients as well as the Windows 10 pc that is the server.
Compro Videomate S350: Gforce GT440:Intel Qual 6600:Nextpvr version 3.9.2 (Yes I know its older but I don't want to tempt fate. At least not until I upgrade the PC later this year.)
Hi, I'm in the UK North West trying to rescan the channels using the 0282 Astra 2E/2F/2G (28.2E) settings with the HD additions but cannot find BBCHD or ITVHD. It locates everything else including channels 4/5/ and a few more in HD.
I've been back through the archives but many, included links are missing.
On checking the frequencies of both BBC and ITV the values are definately included in the 0282 Astra settings but nothing appears on the channel listings during the scan.
If I do a manual scan and put in those same values it still finds nothing.
Also the EPG update using DVB/ATSC get very few hits. (Less than 10 channels.) While freesat flashes up the scan box and then just gives up the ghost.
Sorry if this has already been covered. If it has then a pointer in the right direction would be just as usefull.
When Kodi is running, I literally cannot power off my Crenova brand projector. Whether I press the power button on the device, or on the IR remote doesn't matter. About 5 seconds later, the fan spins back up and the power comes back on. At first I suspected that HDMI activity was causing it to turn back on. So I installed the "Turn Off" screensaver extension and configured it for Raspberry Pi so that the HDMI signal gets disabled at screensaver time. This problem still occurs even with no active HDMI signal. That is super confusing! If I exit from Kodi back to desktop, I can then power my projector off again. All I want to do is keep Kodi running and some events like mouse move or remote control turns my screen back on again. Been trying to debug this for hours this evening without success. It's cold here in western NY but I'm sitting here sweating my ass off from the lamp haha. Oh, and I have a last-ditch plan here which is an actual HVAC to 3v3 relay module that I happen to have handy, and could control by the RPi. Except that's really lame and makes an annoying click noise. There must be some software fix here. Any help is really really appreciated. I'm so close!appvalleytutuapptweakbox
hi,
my nas runs under ADT, i use nextpvr 5. xxx and the Program (EPG) is for Central European Summer Time
so the problem is that there is no option in the settings to adjust the time or did i miss a setting ???
all recordings are xx hours wrong
thx

I have changed the channel configuration using the Web app, and added some channels, and removed others.
All my clients show correct channel lineup and guide listings.
But, the native Windows client Nextpvr.exe shows two channel '13' .
One is a channel I deleted, and replaced with another 'TVNZ Duke'.
One channel 13 in Nextpvr.exe lists 'no show details', and when selected goes to a different channel.
If I look in the channels in the web app, it is correct and only shows one channel 13 'TVNZ Duke'
The Breeze shows as 14 in the web app.
How to I force Nextpve.exe to update it's channel and guide configuration?
I am currently recording NHRA drag racing that started at 2:00 here. While NextPVR was recording I decided to watch the recording delayed. It had been recording for and hour or so. When I selected the recording an error from Kodi said "One or more items failed to play. Check the log for more information about this message." Was going to try the web client but the recording wasn't listed. Usually it says that it's recording it in the recent recordings list but it wasn't there. Also tried NextPVR Roku app but it wasn't listed there either. I could see the recording in the recordings folder and I could play it in VLC.
