Hi,

I've used NextPVR for the last year with no problems.
I'm now trying to install it on a better PC.

When I click the spanner icon in "channels" I get the "edit channel details" screen ok.
But when I've selected source of XMLTV I'm unable to enter anything into the mapping field.

It's driving me mad!

I don't think it's the XML file, as I've tried it with a copy of my ok one.

Any help appreciated..............

I was attempting to add a condition to PostProcessing.sh to prevent comskip from running on recordings from a certain channel.

Last week I recorded a 2 hour program, Good Morning America. When I played it back, it was a nightmare time shifting. When I tried to jump ahead by 90 minutes, it would freeze and then go back to the beginning. I tried other V5 recordings and I encountered similar problems with time shifting including slowness. 

Out of curiosity, I played several V4 recordings, including movies, and had very few problems time shifting. 

Has there been a change to the recording format for V5? 

My V5 backend is running on a Windows 10 computer. The client for all tests was a Raspberry Pi 4 running Kodi Matrix 19.1.0 (LibreELEC 9.97.1)

i've a htpc jogging windows eight.1. i would love to look at live tv and probably report a number of it inside kodi. am i able to just installation an usb dvb-c tv-tuner in the system, and set up nextpvr (or perhaps some opportunity?) on it, as well as the addon in kodi, and be able to watch my channels live, and perhaps report some of it?https://omegle.onl/ vshare

Can NShared/NUtility be configured not to output to stdout without doing it globally?  I am working on a C# Extra that talks to NextPVR and I want to avoid things like


NEXTPVR_INSTALLDIR C:\Program Files\NextPVR\
NEXTPVR_DATADIR C:\Program Files\NextPVR\data\
NEXTPVR_DATADIR_USERDATA C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\

and other unknown/unwanted strings from going to stdout.

Hi It's Mike again,

After I got locast working, I thought I'd give plutotv a try.  I believe it's file permission issues again.  I must admit there is a lot of confusion around users and groups.  NextPVR wants nextpvr:video as user:group and the setuid.  I got things working for locast and now plutotv has nextpvr:nextpvr..  I can't tell what's what anymore.

What does it all really need to be and I'll fix it?  It's also possible streamlink isn't getting picked up in the path.  What's a good command -line test for me to see what's failing?

my IPTV source changed its URL.  Im not seeing a spot to change it.  Do I have to add a new one and re-select all my channels and point to my schedules direct guide?  Very tedious work but hoping there’s a way to just change the url

I'm having an issue regarding the EPG System on Linux - for some reason it's refusing to cooperate properly with my tuner and it's causing the tuner to lock up while it tries to scan for EPG Data. I'm well aware of EPG support on Linux for ATSC data being deprecated more or less, but It's not letting me pull data from Schedules Direct as a result. I even unchecked all EPG channels in the configuration for ATSC EPG, and it still insists on scanning all of them.

Anyone have any idea on how I can fix this?

I have around 1,000 recordings spread over many Windows Media Centre PCs whose directories are shared over a local Gigabit speed network.  I have added these (with the network filename) to the SCHEDULED_RECORDINGS table of Npvr.db3.  They all show and play correctly in the Kodi TV Recordings folder.

If I activate the "Include filesize with recordings" Kodi Npvr add-on option, Kodi pauses during start up at 75% "Loading Recordings from Clients" and generates significant network activity to every Media Centre device.  This can take some time (1-2 minutes) after which the EPG update is performed and Kodi startup is complete.

If I delete a recording from the recordings list, I get the 'rotating circles' for some time before the list is redisplayed without the now deleted recording.  I am 'guessing' that this is while all recordings are once again rescanned.

If I disable "Include filesize with recordings", both the delay at startup and after deletion disappears.

I would expect Kodi to only scan new recordings (existing recordings will not change size).

I turned on Kodi debug logging, along with component specific logging for SMB, libcURL, JSON-RPC, Video and PVR components.  I am not seeing any log entries to indicate hundreds of files being checked at startup/deletion.  I am seeing a constant stream of messages "DEBUG <general>: PVR::CPVRRecordings::UpdateInProgressSize: Updating recordings size" whilst Kodi is open and running.

I have turned off the option to include filesizes and everything is working fine - so this posting is more flagging the issue in case there is something I have missed.

Running the latest version of everything (Kod 19.1 / Npvr 5.1.4.210802)
