I read a while ago that there were a number of methods that PVRX2 expects to exist and will call at particular times. But I can't find where I read it. Can someone point me in the right direction please. A complete list of methods and their purpose would be great.
Aso, is there an overview of the messaging that is used. For example, if my plugin wants to be informed of say a music title or a button press on another screen. What is the mechanism for achieving this?

Description:
A request to disable the Desktop Window Manager was made by process (PVRX2)
probably nothing, but wanted to check.
didn't get the pvrx2 logs, unfortunately - is quite possible the kids pressed the reset button whch i've must disable! find the button handy sometimes though - i do use windows after all....
I am not sure whether this forum is the right target for this question, but I hope people may encountered similar problems.
I use a Windows MCE remote to work with GB-PVR. I am also using EventGhost and MCE replacement driver. As long as I plug in MCE IR receiver into USB, my laptop (Dell 8600) is not able to got to Standby.(Both S3 and S4). A window pops saying something like "USB Hub preventing windows going into Standby". Driver property (MCE remote) under device manager doesn't show a power management tab.
Now that BBC have decided to use a Flash player rather than a P2P client is there anyway to integrate it into GBPVR. Here is a link of somebody that has done a simple integration for MythTV http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/BBC_iPlayer
I love music library 2 (now that I have all the tags right). Is it possible (or could this be a request for enhancement) to list artists that have a threshold value of tracks linked to them. As I have a number of compilation CD's, when listing against artist I would like to miss the 'one hit/two hit wonders' from my list most of the time.
 The box sends DirecTV streams to your PC via USB for watching/recording on the PC.
Info is slim at this point, and it's not confirmed it would handle HD, but it looks like this box could be the HDTV/PC media center holy grail we've been waiting for in the US.
I'm sure the streams/recordings would be DRM-ed to the max (so you couldn't burn to Blu-ray or iPod), but you'd still be able to watch them all over your house.
Currently the only option for non-air/pay HD content is 1) the Dell/ATI OCUR/Cable Card setup which is extremely flaky and won't work with SDV...and 2) SageTv with Dish Network and the $500 R5000-HD modification.
Since the content and equipment are both DirecTV, odds are it would actually work.
Also not sure about integration potential with 3rd party software like GB-PVR and Sage.
Again, details are sparse, but imagine: all your HD channels (incl. TNTHD, HBOHD, etc.) viewable/recordable/streamable in GB-PVR....drool.....
I have gbpvr v.1.1.5 and am using Pvrx2. I have installed MusicLibrary2 v. 6.5. So far, I see the MusicLibrary2 folder under Plugins. I have unzipped MusicLibrary2DB.zip and its content is in gbpvr's root folder, so I have MusicLibrary2.mdb under the folder gbpvr.
When I open config and then settings, I get "DatabaseProviderFactory does not match DatabaseConnectionString
Database type (filename), Verify your database settings on the general tab." So when I am in, I select MS Access and select MusicLibrary2.mdb which is in the root folder.
But when i click on MusicLibrary2 in pvrx2, The mainmenu dissappears, but it doesn't go into MusicLibrary2, or nothing that I can see anyways, and when I move my mouse, it goes back into the main menu.
Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a zip of pvrx2.exe log
PS. I don't know programming, so please treat me as a noob with no clue.
