I noticed if I hit F1 in PBVRX2 it goes to onscreen mini guide and escape takes me back to LIVE TV. I want to know if there is a shortcut key to go to the full screen tv guide and another one to go directly back to LIVE TV without going through the main menu.
I am new to GB-PVR after reading good reviews i have a WinTV-NOVA-T-PCI but i can not find how to set this up. When i use BDA device confuguration and select "only show devices detected in this machine" no devices are found.!! HELP!!
A while back, my recording service stopped automatically starting when Windows starts. I now have to remember to restart it manually every time. It started happening a couple versions ago, and I'm now running 1.1.5 but still have the same problem. The recording service log isn't updated at all when Windows starts, so apparantely it's not even trying to start. Anyone know what the problem might be?
Just installed the latest over 1.0.16 and now I have no video. Attempts to watch a recording or live tv bounces me back to the main menu. I've tried to register the filters and I'm about to reboot. No issues under 1.0.16.
Running with a HVR-1600, both tuners on Vista Ultimate. Thoughts? Logs attached.
I am running a pretty good computer (Intel Core2 4300 @ 1.8GHz, 3gb RAM, GeForce 7300 LE), but I am getting choppy video/audio. When I change settings to "Low Quality" it resolves the problem but the quality is is really poor. That is really the only option I know enough about to modify...what else can I change?
When I was using Vista with the Angel Dual TV tuner, I never got these problems (even with the hog resource OS) in Media Center. I downgraded to XP so I figured everything would be faster.
Any ideas?
The current Net Radio is nice. However, it appears to use the "Quick Genre" list from Shoutcast, and display the top 20 by rank from each of those lists. That is fine if you like the quick genre's.
Would it be possible to add a search choice, which would key into shoutcast's search box? I could then enter a less popular genre (christian; bluegrass; others?) and return the top 20 from that search?
Alternatively, if we could define, perhaps in a config, a few more "user defined genre's" that would do the same, but would avoid having to make a text-entry box.
I know we can select some from shoutcast and paste them into the net radio favorites directory, but I don't have favorites yet. It would be a lot easier to explore and try them within the net radio player, and then move them to favorites if I like them. The titles displayed in Net Radio are better than those displayed in shoutcast as well.
The web interface (EWA) shows the channel number and name everywhere EXCEPT when you do a search for shows. Is there a way to make it show the channel number here as well?
