Been using GBPVR for about 12 months and firstly got to say I love it. I can imagine how much work it is to keep up to date so you guys should be commended.
I have recently upgraded to verison 16 and decided to sort out some problems and add plugins.
One of my problems is that GBPVR (even before update) never picked up all of my available channels. Other software does.
Not too sure about DVT-S, DVB-S2 etc. but the transmitter I am looking at is Mendip. I have line of sight and perfect reception.
One of hte channels I am missing is E4 (and I would assume others tuned on the same Mux/channel).
Any help would be appreciated. I have attached logs.
Also in the old version when the mouse moved when viewing something a mini-menu (5 buttons) would appear on the screen. I don't get this in the new version. Any way to turn it back on as I VNC into my machine a lot and they are very useful.
Hello everyone! I've been trying to capture video from my analog video camera using my capture card for weeks now, and I feel that I'm finally getting close to being able to do it but I'm not quite there.
I have a "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture" card, and I've been connecting my camera to it by the composite and audio inputs. After experiencing numerous errors and trying many different programs to capture the video, the GBPVR software was one of a few recommended to me to try and capture the video, since the WinTV software was not included with my computer (I got the computer with the card already in it).
Anyway, my question is, using GBPVR, is there anyway I can manually start and stop recording a "channel", without setting a recording time? As I was playing around I set the program to record my video camera input from 3:40-4:40 or something, and while I suppose I can make this timed thing work if I needed to, it'd really be much easier for me to record only what I need.
Is there anyway I can do this? I'm very sorry if I'm being vague, but I have searched quite a few times through the forum already and didn't find anything. I'm not sure if, at this point, it'd be of any use, but here is a link to my conversation on another forum that may provide more information.
Thank you in advance, and again, I'm sorry if I'm being vague. I'm trying very hard to be helpful, but just let me know if there's anything else I can do.
my sister just got fiber-optic line to her house, and her cable is over the same connection.
every set tob box in her house has a RJ45 input on it instead of coax cable.
would it be at all possible to set up GBPVR to run with that without using the set top box??
just get the channel off the network cable??
Team Fortress 2 is putting my job in serious jeopardy.
This is the first game I have been able to get excited about since Halo2. Portal is also very cool. I have not even launched Half Life 2 / Episode 2 yet. A damn good value for $50.00!
The 17 year old version of myself would be very happy to hear that I am still playing video games for 4 hours a day at 38
When browsing through the list of artitst, I solely rely on my remote control by using the numeric-keys to select letter.
I noticed that when entering the SECOND letter, the numeric keys don't behave as expected. Hitting the "4" 3 times, it gives me the "G" as second letter and "H" as third. While I expected to get the "I" as second letter.
This only occurs with the second letter. First, third and later all behave well.
I am using GBPVR 1.0.16 (GBPVR.exe since I have an older my graphic card) and ML6.5
In The TVGuide when I click Manual record, it doesn't give an option to stream so I have to go to manage recordings and select stream, Could this be added to the Manual Record Secion as well?
And how about a check box to delete the recording when the stream server is shut down?
I had 2 tuners in my pc working great, then my stand alone pvr 150 died.
My config was:
HVR 1600
PVR 150
Instead of replacing it I removed the 150, and now when I tune atsc channels I get audio but no video. With
qam channel the audio and video is fine. Also video playback is fine. I tried reinstalling all my video decoders and nothing helped.
