Sometimes, and it seems like if PVRX2 v1.0.16 has been running for couple of weeks, then a recurring recording sometimes hasn't recorded during it's time. As I troubleshoot, I put a show in the pending queue, about 1 hr later, but it will not record either.
Manual recording - ok
restarting of recording service - no difference
stop/restart of program elements - no change
reboot - all ok
I'm not sure what to pkg up and send for logs, but evidently I need to do this prior to rebooting?
Sorry for being dense on the log point, since this software just works for me, I sometimes forget, when what I really want is to veg...
I have a HVR-1800 (XP) hooked to a Dish 381 box. I can't seem to setup the tuner card up right to get any video. I have the video coming into the S-video port on the HVR-1800.
This version adds a visual verify menu to allow the user to preview what the DVD menu will look like and Burn or Cancel the ISO, or DVD create. The preview mode defaults on, but can be turned off via a menu button.
Skiptool menu updated to latest version.
Is it possible to have a popup without buttons that can be created then closed again after a certain task has completed?
Example - user clicks a button...popup appears saying 'Please wait...', some processing is done, popup is then closed by the plugin without user input.
The problem is that it will not be detected by my motherboard (see signature). This is the 3rd different card (all via RMA) I've gotten from Hauppauge, and I am sick of spending the money to send them back!
TVGuideChannelHeadType from 3 to 0. My icons weren't appearing in my TV Guide. After the switch, I got a JIT error. Thinking it was no big deal I edited the number back to 3 and saved.
After a reboot I tried the config app and got this JIT error:

If I have two shows, one on channel 2 from 8PM to 9PM and one on channel 11 from 9PM to 11PM, I've had trouble with the first show getting cut short, even though I have 2 tuners.
I've seen something for this here in the forums, but I don't know where.
When I hit the live TV button it says it is useing the PVR350 TV out, which is fine. I can see the information on my television. What I can't see is a picture. What do I have set wrong?
I have been running GBPVR successfully on Win2k Server until recently. (see previous postings....). As I have been unable to get to the bottom of that issue I have opted to upgrade to XP (dual boot) to see if that will aid the Nova T store channels
Having just installed GBPVR I now have a problem that none of the GBPVR .exe files will exicute, giving the error "The appliation failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."
Not quite what I expected.
Can anyone give some guidance? No log files for obvious reasons!
As a thought, the installation is on a partition F:, not default C:, would this be a possible cause?
Hi guys,
I'm new around these parts, been reading the wiki's and the forums for a couple of days now though.
I've just rebuilt my old Server2k3 box to be more of a media box, and GBPVR is just what i'm looking for. I've got an old analogue tv tuner card (V-Stream PVR7137) that i'm trying to use for testing before I go and splash out on anything better (Probably a Nova-T or something).
The rest of the specs of the box:
XP Pro SP2
Athlon 3000+
2gb DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9550 128mb
650GB HDDs
PureVideo Decoder v1.02.223
DirectX9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Latest ATI Catalyst stuff.
I'm having a couple of problems with stuff that's probably pretty obvious and i've just overlooked - firstly when I run GBPVR, I get the whole "VMR9 is not supported" message - not sure why this is still happening when I've updated all the drivers and everything? I've switched to Overlay Manager for now anyway, until I can figure out the problem!
Secondly, I'm not really sure how i'm supposed to get the EPG data - is there an extra program I need to run or something? I can't seem to find any info about that!
Thirdly, is this all just 'easier' if you get a decent card, and is there any further software (filters, decoders, etc) that are recommended for a setup like mine?!
Thanks in advance, and well done on putting together what looks like a great package
