  Changed User Account
Posted by: hakras - 2007-09-03, 12:58 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

I'm sure I could find the answer to this using the search function, but I keep getting a database error when I try to search.

I had to change my user account on my PC (long story). The account that I am using is a domain administrator (server 2003). I can run GBPVR tray icon, but I can't run either GUI. I get a message about the target not being correct. The original account was a domain administrator so I don't get why I'm having this problem. Does GBPVR install to the user account or the local machine? Any ideas???

Error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
Posted by: turbodracula - 2007-09-03, 12:37 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

OK, so the forum search is hosed right now.

When I click on Live TV.

Has this error come up? Anyone solved it? Anybody point me to a thread that deals with it?

I'm connecting to Schedules Direct for EPG data, seems to be importing fine, but no Live TV.

thanks

  Pvrx2 & Vmr9

Sorry, I've not updated since v.98 and I am having some troubles using the search on the forums. The new PVRX2, must it use VMR9? Because I can't get it to work even when I select overlay Sad

  ML2 6.5 & 6.6 causing GBPVR to not respond
Posted by: xHerbiex - 2007-09-02, 09:25 PM - Forum: Recording2, MusicLibrary2, SystemStatus Support - Replies (2)

I've been trying to get MusicLibrary2 to work. I 1st tryed 6.5 but it kept stopping GBPVR from responding. I then installed 6.6 but get the following errors. The 1st set of errors from 14:02:40.515 to 14:02:40.640 aren't from ML2 but I haven't been able to figure out what causes them either. The ML2 errors start after that. Eventually I have to end-task GBPVR.

  No channel Listings?
Posted by: Ranger One - 2007-09-02, 09:14 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

Registered with Schedules Direct yesterday am. Kept getting Authorization errors. Problem was the e-mail info has to be lowercase letters. Guess I missed the thing about lower case letters.

On my new install of GBPVR using Schedules Direct.. I no longer receive any authentication errors ... when I run the "create capture source" part of the config I get the massage about retrieving lineups from Zap2it & then the message about saving the channel information but then it doesn't list the channels in the "create capture source" which it always did before with Zap2it. I have the various patches installed in GBPVR.

What could I be missing now?

Schedules direct, xmltv, and an old version of GBPVR...
Posted by: JohnInSJ - 2007-09-02, 08:45 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Hey, just an fyi...

I was able to download the latest xmltv windows app, configed it to use schedules direct, changed my listing data settings in my old gbpvr install to use xmltv, and she seems to be working for the moment.

So I still need to upgrade to the latest version of gbpvr, but I can procrastinate for a while more it seems!

  new user to gbpvr
Posted by: lothos - 2007-09-02, 08:21 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

Hello, I'm in need of some help getting gb pvr working right. I got a new capture card in hopes of some better usage than my old ati tv wonder card. it's an Aver m780 pci-e white box card. It took me quite a bit of time to get sound working when simply watching tv and now i'm on to getting records to work. I'm using version 1.0.16 of gb-pvr and the latest drivers and codecs I can find. presently cyberlink clvsd.ax version 6.0.0.1402 is my mpeg2 decoder. My primary issue is I have no audio on my recordings. The second issue I seem to have is pauses in the recording when playing it back. Without audio, I don't know if its simply video hanging up or if something else is going on.

Also, is there a way to autosplit recordings across multiple files?

  Channel lineup ?
Posted by: je46290 - 2007-09-02, 06:36 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

I have a small problem I need help with. I am useing schedules direct data and set up my channels that I want to see data for but when I go to the guide it still shows like 500 channels or more but only data for the ones I setup at schedules direct. I went into congig in gppvr and cannot get these other channels to be removed from the guide. Which really sucks after you mouse click about 1000 times and it doesnt do anything, so what is the easiest way to do this?

One more thing, I really like this software. It works very well for me, pretty easy to setup but never could get an acceptable picture on my TV so I use it on my desktop for recording shows which is very nice. Thanks for the nice software. Oh what is the purpose of pvrx2?

GBPVR 1.0.16 Vista Ultimate install crash
Posted by: mediaman - 2007-09-02, 06:29 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

****sorry for double post...getting invision board database error when I tried to post resulting in a double post...delete this or the other please*****

When I tried to install 1.0.16 on Vista 32-bit ultimate the install halted with this message:

Error 1904 module c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\psiparser.ax failed to register. hresult -2147010895

I clicked retry and same error. Ignore continued the installation but only the skin came up on the config file.

A repair of gbpvr produced a .net framework error..(below)

Any ideas? Vista Ultimate was fully updated, HD2600XT video card, Theatre 550 pro, 2 GB Ram E6550 duo, Gigabyte GA-P35 DS3L motherboard.

Thanks in advance

Live tv exists to main menu, "Waited for ten seconds and file size is zero!!!" in log
Posted by: arttu - 2007-09-02, 04:55 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

This has been happening to me for couple of days now: everything works, playback is smooth etc but once in a while (say, every 15 to 30 minutes) live tv stops and after a couple of seconds the pvrx2 main menu is displayed.

At the same time the following message is written to PVRX2.exe-native.log
ERROR DirectShowHelperVMR9::playFile() - Waited ten seconds, and file size is still zero!!!

I am using 1.0.6 PVRX2.exe with -fse command line parameter. I use purevideo for video and ffdshow audio for audio.

Any ideas?

PS. the title should read "exits", not "exists" Smile
