I mean yes the error is obvious but i do have a get name (actually I've copied the code from your simple plugin and haven't actually changed anything yet).
Code:
/// <summary>
/// Called by the framework to get the name of the plugin
/// </summary>
/// <returns>plugin name</returns>
public override string getName()
{
return PluginIntName;
}
Works in pvrx2, it's just the config app I can't get to go.

An A-B repeat play feature would be very usefull, expecially when playing theme songs from movies or tv serials... (Toddlers like to listen repeatedly to the same song!)
If we add a channel such as the weather channel which does not have EPG is it possible to optionaly add a static entry for the channel i.e. "NZ Weather 24 x 7" would look better than channels showing (No Show Details) and all broken into blocks of time
I have noticed that whenever I select Live TV from the UI the IR code for the last channel that GBPVR was using is sent. Is this planned behaviour? Is there an option to stop it?
On first sorry for my english.
I use this great program since Four Month.
Recently I have upgraded to the last version.
All run well with PVRX2 executable , but tonight i have configured my machine (XP) to run with a second monitor (Extended TV).
When i Select in gbpvr to run on the second monitor, it's OK
the program start on my TV.
When I read a video or if I want to watch TV, the PVRX2 process jump to 100 % and stay to 100 %
If I run PVRX2 without Second monitor selected, all run well.
If i run Gpvr executable and not PVRX2 , all runs well.
I've been using GB PVR with a MVP for a while and all has been well. Then suddenly the MVP server has gone. I've rebooted and changed the number to autostart in the config but nothing happens. I did notice a new version had been released so I upgraded to 1.16 in the hope that would fix it, but alas no.
I've included my logs if that helps.
I've been trying to think of anything numptyish that I might have done to screw things up and the only thing I can think of is that I've set up an alternative hardware profile to exclude my Maxtor hardware - my PC will not hibernate if this is enabled.
I have the screen saver checked on, but it never comes on.
However, I have a sub-menu off the main menu called "extras", where I put things like the music player, pictures and videos.
When I select the sub-menu, the screen saver comes on. When I press a key on the remote, the screen saver goes away and it returns to the main menu. Effectively blocking me from the "extras" menu.
I can press, say, the pictures button on my remote, and it takes me strait to the pictures plugin, then I can press escape and be at the extras menu. You can also press the videos and music buttons and get to the extras menu.
and I guess, while I'm here, titles with really long names, eg "the adventures of Huckleberry Finn in space" wrap around funny while viewing the find menu, (guide, guide)
sub, I've run across what I think may be a bug. I've had PVRX2 lock up on me a few times, but I wasn't sure if it was some of my code or not.
In this last instance, I simply
started PVRX2,
looked thru the recordings plugin
returned to menu
clicked on video library
Then the machine locked up. I rebooted and noticed that the PVRX2.exe-native.log file was huge. I noticed the following in it repeated over and over (14mb worth!)

I've been using my Hauppage remote with GBPVR for a long time having the following codes in the [default] section of the irremote.ini file:
Code:
CHNLDOWN={findwnd(,GB-PVR)}{SendMsg(32771,225,0)}
Unfortunately these stopped working in PVRX2, because this was the old way and there is no problem with that, but I can't seem to figure out how this new 32775 message system works, what should be changed in the irremote.ini file...
So this new way seems to be way too complex for me, could anyone post me some help? maybe an irremote.ini file, which works with PVRX2? I'm sure I need only one tyni bit of information to make this work, but couldn't find it after searching the forums for an hour. (But I learned other nice things, so it was not a complete waste of time )
Thanks in advance, great program, great community!
Thanks Sub for answering my initial question on this!
