I just setup my new GBPVR Server. From memory there was an alternate location to download better PVR150 drivers. Does anyone know which is the best driver version and location to download?
Running Vista and when I use any decoder besides system default it crashes. I use my Nvidia decoder with Vista MCE without issue. When I use system default I have no idea what decoder is used. It appears to crash once it tries to start the decoder. On a side note it also starts recording the program. Very odd.
When an MVP was enabled I was getting stuttering on the TVOUT of my HTPC at 1 minute intervals. I changed the process priority to abovenormal on GBPVR and left it on normal for the MVP servers and it works perfectly.
I know sub already said he wouldn´t do it, but since he is working on the code for PVRX2, maybe he could change his mind this time.
What I´m asking isn´t a big deal, I think there could be and option to play some extension (avi, mkv, agg) with and external player. This way we could use "Dual Audio" files and switch between external subtitles files.
I´m thinking of something easy and not really integrated into GBPVR, just Video Library calling the external program (or batch) with the movie filename as arg. GBPVR would stay in the background without doing anything else.
Hey sub, maybe this time? If not, at least consider adding a way to use dual audio files. MediaPortal does this by controlling Haali Media Splitter and VobSub.
I need a low energy consuming Pci Express graphics card.
I have a pentium M system (msi speedster FA-4) and a 60 watt power supply unit.
In the past I have used the onboard graphics onto a 17 inch flat screen monitor.
. I am about to move and I would like to output via s-video to a standard def TV so I will need buy a graphics card as there is no s-video out with the onboard graphics. Any suggestions?
I'm getting the following error trying to install:
Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\gbpvr\PsParser.ax? (reading this from a standard def TV... ) failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support personnel.
it seems to be really slow to access/alter the Database for shows
either switching from Ready to What's new, or to pending or conflicts.
It's got about a 28 second delay before it'll pull up any information.
Same thing when trying to delete shows..
Example.
Main menu to recordings - instant
(default view is what's new)Select the Ready - 28 seconds
Select show category "Robot chicken" - instant
select top show - instant
select delete - instant
delete show - menu fades to 10% opacity and - 28 seconds.
playing a file... instant
I'm having this issue with both the old and new versions of GBPVR.
I am using pvrx2.exe in vista.
I have noticed that the page up and down buttons don't seem to work in the recordings menu. They work in the tv listings menu.
Any ideas?
[Edit]
Forgot to mention that this is using the MVP.
Changing channels by pressing the channel number doesn't seem to work either on the MVP.

I have PVRX2 running on Windows Vista and I have no timeshifting. Has anyone else experienced this? It's not a huge problem for me yet (I don't use timeshifting very much), but I thought I should get this problem some awareness. When I press Pause from LiveTV it just twitches a bit and exits to the Main Menu.
