  Using a Denon remote control
Posted by: JuicyFruits - 2007-07-12, 01:35 PM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (1)

I've got a Denon AVR1906 amp and remote control. At the moment this happily controls my TV and Amp. I'd like to be able to take over the controls of the Hauppauge remote, so I only need 1 remote control - the Denon.
Has anyone else achieved this kind of function and if so, how ?

  Error in BDA.ini v1.0.8
Posted by: nj2112 - 2007-07-12, 12:52 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

The BDA.ini file for latest release contains two entries headed "Hauppauge Nova-T-Stick type3".

Only this entry should be present as the other doesn't work.

[Hauppauge Nova-T-Stick type3]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER="WinTV Nova-T Stick DVB-T Tuner (Dev1 Path0) "
FILTER_CAPTURE="WinTV Nova-T Stick DVB-T Capture (Dev1 Path0) "
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

  HUGE bind
Posted by: Azimuth - 2007-07-12, 05:24 AM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (4)

I just built a new PVR with a motherboard that has PCI-X slots. these slots are capable of downgrading to PCI, provided the card I put in it is a certain voltage. well 4 of my PVR150's are not the right voltage. Luckily I have one that is.
I need to get more tuners fast.
With my PVR 150's I used to have 3 capturing through composite connections and one through the analog tuner. is it possible to eliminate one by using both the composite and the coax connection simultaneously?

Any other insight is welcome.
Thanks.

  Powerline Networking Package for sale HDX101's
Posted by: mdnttoker - 2007-07-12, 04:56 AM - Forum: General Discussion - No Replies

I'm moving to a new house that is wired w/ethernet, so I'm selling all of my power line networking stuff, including:

3 x Netgear HDX101 200mbps Powerline Routers.
2 x Corinex Powerline Noise Filters CXF-CXP-200-1.1
1 x Simply Automated ZPCI-B Breaker Box Phase Coupler (most houses in the USA are 2-phase, a neutral, a first phase, and a second phase: 220V appliances use both phases, all others use one phase and neutral)

I'm selling it all as one package, so please don't ask me to split it up. This stuff works great for SDTV, and may work for HDTV depending on your wiring.

By isolating noisy appliances with the Corinex filters, and adding the Phase Coupler, I was able to get ~60mbps real-world throughput even across phases (2-phase power in the US).

If you're interested, drop me a private message or an e-mail by clicking on my username.

Thanks,
Dan

  Old style tabular live guide
Posted by: matthrolf - 2007-07-12, 04:42 AM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

Is the old (.9x) tabular live guide available in 1? I can't seem to locate the skin location for it, but I have also not really delved into the skinning aspect of the program.

  GBPVR Changing it's Name?
Posted by: bdgbill - 2007-07-12, 04:30 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

I was wondering if the "PVRX2.exe" file name from the new release suggests a new name for GBPVR in the future?

  Sort by title
Posted by: matthrolf - 2007-07-12, 04:21 AM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

Would it be possible to have a recording listing sort by the subtitle of the episode by pressing a button? I know you hate the colored buttons, yet there they exist.

  Features in ver 1 from .9x
Posted by: matthrolf - 2007-07-12, 04:19 AM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (13)

I know sub said he would get around to adding some of the features back, but maybe we can reduce his workload by if some are not listed he does not have to include them again.

What features do you want to make sure are carried forward?

The ones I have noticed are:

1. Shading on the top of the guide to show time when something is scheduled to record.
2. Search guide.
3. I read in another post that you removed support for the colored keys, but a feature that I used very often was tied to the red button in the recording listings: Reverse date sort.
4. Live guide (mini guide) when playing a recording.

  v1.0.8 Crashing on Shutdown and no remote
Posted by: bdgbill - 2007-07-12, 04:00 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

PVRX2 crashes everytime I shut it down.

Zipped logs are attached.

My other issue is that my remote does not work in PVRX2 but still works with GBPVR.exe. Does the IRremote.ini file have to edited? I'm using .exe channel changer pointed to haupblast.exe

Thanks

  VMR 9 options, explain?
Posted by: Torque - 2007-07-12, 03:53 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (21)

Is there somewhere that explains what all the different VMR 9 options are?
Like:
Which one has to be used with 1.0.8?
What are the difference between them?
