i have a kworld atsc 110. i am trying to get hdtv ota. i have installed and setup the latest ver. of gbpvr and when ever i start the program and try live tv it says "no channels set up please run epg..." i have run the epg with zaptoit and i have mapped the digital signals to epg like 15 times." on top of that when it has the preview inside the digital mapping window i can see and watch all of the channels in the preview pane just fine. what the hell is going on and how come it wont work i can not figure this out. i have been trying everything. PLEASE HELP!
I am a freshly installed version of WinXP Pro and a ATI TV Wonder 550 pro. When I open up GBPVR everything is fine and I can navigate around just fine. But when I go to LiveTV the video freezes and the audio keeps going. Heck I can even hear the channel change when I use the arrow keys. The weird thing is I had this same setup working under WinMCE2005 but to save hard drive space I decided to use a fresh WinXP install. Attached are the logs.
Thanks
Hi, i realy hope ive chosen the right topic for this post.
Version: 99 05 Summary: Internet proxy authentication for any internet access
I have an internet situation which requires a proxy server (with authentication) and there is absolutely no way arround it (comes from the ISP, and before you ask no i cant change isp's ).
Everything has been fine using the RSS plugin that ive had as the rss feed was comming from a webserver inside my local network. but this is no-longer the case and is being hosted by the ISP (and susequently requires proxy authentication to be viewed).
This is also the case for the new "You Tube" plugin (and well any plugin which uses the net).
What im asking is, is there any way to get gbpvr to "tunnel" its internet requests all through a single proxy connection? e.g enter the login details to the config and the plugins just access the net like normal?
Ive tried doing several searches here, on the wiki, and on google but to no avail.
---
also for those that remember my looping video request, havent been able to find anything as yet and have had to resort to making 10 copies of 3 videos to give several hours of footage.
I have installed Vista Ultimate & GBPVR. For some reason, the MPV servers will not start automatically. I can however run them from the GBPVR programs folder just fine. It does not matter weather I select 1 or 4 servers to start in he CONFIG utility, none ever start up automatically.
I selected the card in the capture source setup, select Optus D1 (NZFTA).
I am not sure, maybe it's a problem with my LNB setup, but when I try to map channels, it says no channels found.
I jumped up on the roof, and the LNB on the sky dish says:
LO: 10.75 GHZ
11.7 - 12.75 / 12.25 - 12.75 GHz
950 - 2000 / 1500-2000 MHz
So, what would the settings be inside the BDA recording setup? (I assume LOF = 10750?)
Found a bug in build 56. In "Manage Recordings" if you click stream, you get this message:
Quote:Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Requested URL: /gbpvr/public/Player.aspx
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.42; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.210
Looking at the directory structure is in the root web folder and not /public.
A workaround: Open "Manage.aspx.cs" in Notepad (in the C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\web folder). In Notepad, click Edit -> Find. Search for "Player.aspx". There will be two entries found. For each find, remove "public/" from in front of Player.aspx. Both entries should now read as follows, the bold text is the result of the change:
One of the great features of GBPVR is that it records programs whenever they are broadcast. However, the downside of this is that when timeslots change (as seems common with public broadcasters) conflicts can occur that didn't exist when the program was first scheduled. The problem is that I can find no way to have GBPVR notify me when a conflict arises.
What would solve this is for GBPVR to send an email (via SMTP) when a change in scheduling creates a conflict. Conflict details would be nice, but aren't essential -- it's enough to know that a new conflict exists. Even having GBPVR run a BAT file for new conflicts would work.
Any chance of this making it into the next release?
I tried updating the Wiki concerning the SnapStream FireFly RF Remote as the information there now is not exactly current. I do not have the privileges to edit the Wiki.
Can someone make the following change for me:
REPLACE THIS LINE:
<!-- Starting with gbpvr v.90, use "app5" in the following instead of "app4" -->
WITH:
<!--
Use AppIdentifier.exe in the FireFly directory to determine the identifiers for your
GBPVR version. To use AppIdentifier.exe, load it and then switch to GBPVR. Then
switch directly back to AppIdentifier.exe, press pause and each of the corresponding
fields will contain the values for GBPVR.
I only had to change the ClassName="" to the setting from AppIdentifier.exe. I kept
WindowText="GB-PVR" and FileName="GBPVR.exe"
If you have any problems with just changing the ClassName, change all three to the
settings in AppIdentifier.exe
