There is one channel in my epg line up that will not load in its proper place in the tv guide. Nor will it record. It is channel three but it does not show up after 2 and before 3 as it should it shows up after ch98 when watching live tv. However ch3 shows up in its correct place if I use the tuning assistant. Any ideas? I will say that I have experimented with using different epg's; could that have fouled things up? I have tried repair program and that does not fix it.
Is it possible to pause the recording while still viewing the live stream - like with a VCR? If not, can it be made possible? (Basically, the only feature my old man wants )
Apologies if this question has been asked/answered - couldn't find the thread.
I have GBPVR setup on a server and client. Both machines are dual core with 1GB memory and connected via gagabit. Server is new machine with gvpvr just installed(and working great)
When using file sharing to connect, I get about 1 frame about every 3 seconds for live tv.
When using streaming, the live tv video/audio is great but the client hangs about 80% of the time when I change channels on the client. Leaving the server is recording live tv mode.
I did a changedatabase on both machines, and disabled the live prefix in misc tab.
Any ideas?
(same problem as reported by other user in thread : gb-pvr client mode hanging)
wanted to see if there was a way to add a channel even if the labs.zap2it does not show it now. my problem is adelphia cable company was bought by Time Warner and they took the CW channel and put it on 98. Well later they switched it to channel 25 and I posted a question in the labs.zap2it forums about the changing it, but nothing happened so I just went into GBPVR and mapped channel 98 to 25 that seemed to work. Well today I notice that a program was not recording and notice that for that channel in my TV guide it was blank now. I then logged into my profile on labs.zapit and noticed the channel is just totally gone but the werid thing is the TV listing on tvlistings.zap2it.com still shows the channel. Any ways for me to get the guide info if they are not going to supply it?
OK I powred off my computer to change the video card cause it was freezing up my cpu. Now it won't turn back on. THere is a red light right under the video card does anyone know what this means?
I was excited to find your program as no software came with the used tuner card I bought, however I am having consistant lockups after about 1-2 seconds with LiveTV. I see the video for a moment, and then it freezes. I have reinstalled ATI's drivers for my Theater 550 Pro several times, and reinstalled them along with GB-PVR, and have also uninstalled FFDSHOW, with no luck. I would be interested in donating if I could ever figure this out.
Which log file would you be interested in seeing, if any? I appreciate your help in any way!
Is it possilbe to play AC3 using pass-through to my receiver and, concurrently, convert the same AC3 sound to stereo for output through my sound card headphone jack?
I am trying to use a headphone because I have hearing issues, but at the same time allow others to hear the sound through the speakers. I can do this for 2-channel sound, but not for AC3. All the movies I have have AC3 5.1 sound.
I have looked around for a while, but could not find the answer.
I'm sick of having my hdtv recordings not playback properly.
With intervideo, it only plays without hiccups the first hdtv when opening gbpvr.
And the video is washed out with intervideo.
When using nvidia, i can get good playback having deinterlacing set to combine fields. However the video is interlaced. How can i get the video deinterlaced? I can try using ffdshow i suppose, but when i check use ffdshow and have raw and mpeg 1 and 2 checked off with deinterlacing, it doesnt do anything.
Are there any other pci tuner cards with tv video out built into the card that work with GB PVR?
Looks like the MyHD MDP-130 card has hardware tv video out, but is not supported.
The PVR 350 hardware video out is so far superior to the graphics card video out (and has a couple other advantages as well) that I will definetly be using it with GBPVR.
I don't care that it doesn't work with the youtube pluging, I'd rather have the better picture quality.
Not able to find any tuner cards that are supported by GBPVR (Sub) and still have hardware video out.
BTW I've tried a few other pvr programs and GB PVR is the best by a long shot, no contest.
