I am trying to get EWA working via IIS on port 80 as most other ports are locked down from work.
My IIS server currently hosts multiple sites so I filter on the hostname. So URL for EWA is tv.mydomain.com whose local path is C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\web. Permission is set to Read with 'script only' execute permissions.
The error I receive is:

When i set nvidia to decoder, and i have the purevideo installed it crashes. When i go into configuration and hit the video decoder options buton, the icon in the taskbar appears for 2-3 seconds then it disappears and closes the config window as well
does anyone know what's wrong? it must be the decoder...but when i play a dvd movie with windows media player it plays fine, and i can open the decoder options just fine
hey guys can someone help me setup the blackmyst skin in the advisor theme pack? I downloaded and installed it to the gbpvr skins folder and the gbpvr config app does show the skin as a choice but after I select it and load gbpvr nothing happens..is there something I am missing?
For those of us without dual core CPUs and without a dedicated computer to serve as a PVR, it would be nice to have an option that increases the priority of the recording service just during the time that an actual recording is taking place. I know that it has been stated that it is not good to leave the priority elevated, hence the suggestion. As soon as the recording is done, bump the priority back down to normal again. This would perhaps help with skipping on lower end PCs when they are being used while a recording is in progress.
My wMVP fires up and connects to my GB-PVR server with little muss or fuss after hard power reset. However, when I power cycle using the remote control, the MVP complains that it can't access the configured wireless network.
My network does not broadcast SSID and uses 128 bit WEP.
Symptoms seen using Hauppauge dongle downloaded approximately 6-8 weeks ago; I haven't tried other dongles to see if they exhibit the problem as well.
Anybody seen this and do you know of a workaround?
I am on the market for a USB Media Card reader/writer that can handle MS Duo, CF and SD cards. And most importantly be able to cope with cards over 1GB.
I'm in the process of getting a refund on this card reader as it cannot handle large capacity cards
Any suggestions of brands/models obtainable in the UK?
Hi,
I have a WinTV HVR1300 and a new MediaMVP all set up and running on Hauppauge software.
I'd like to use gbpvr but I cannot get past the basic config page.
In Capture source I have entered BDA recording plugin and when checking show devices connected I have a selection of Hauppauge units
Nova T (90002)
Hauppauge 3000 (dvb-t)
Hauppauge 4000 (dvb-t)
but not the one in my pc (HVR1300) using Hauppauge software it can pick up both analogue and freeview digital channels.
Which do I choose, Nova t, 3000, or 4000?
Answering my own question I think the 3000 & 4000 are for satelite reception not Antenna.
Next stage, am i correct in that I use Bleb epg, I am in the UK
When I do a channel list upgrade do i then have to map digital channels to epg because when I do it starts scanning but then I get an error message and the whole lot closes down
Sorry its such a long post but its got me beat, I'm sure there must be an easy answer
I just found out to my cost (and glaring looks  ) that the record button on the MVP remote doesn't do what I thought it did when in the 'search guide' menu.
I'd like to grovellingly request that it does the same in the Search as it does in the TV guide - i.e. a simple quick record of what the cursor is on.
