I've got GBPVR up and running with a PVR-150MCE. The remote works fine controlling GBPVR but it won't send channels to the STB.
I've configured a profile in the config, and pressed buttons 0 - 9 on my STB remote as it asks but it doesn't send anything to the STB when I change channel. I can see the little LED on the blaster doesn't flash so it's not even sending the channel. If I run Windows Media Center on the same machine it works fine.
Am I missing something. I've checked every single button in the config and am sure I've configured absolutely everything but it's just not working. Have I missed a step somewhere?
Any help much appreciated. BTW the STB is a Sky Digibox
When i check the "Only show devices detected in this machine" Hauppauge pvr250, pvr250 with fm radio and pvr350 are the only choices for a capture card. I have downloaded and installed the hauppauge pvr150 drivers. Any advice?
I'm trying to deal with an Advent TV that responds incorrectly when I send IR commands to the MVP. The TV has a real problem rejecting commands that are not for it. For example when I send "down arrow" the the MVP, the TV pops up a TV setup menu on top of the MVP screen.
So I've got a JP1 remote and changed the key code for the "down arrow" key to something the TV won't see. Then I've edited the XML keymappping menu for the new keycode. This works great. Until I navigate to a sub menu, then the original keycode definition comes back and I can't navigate the sub menu.
Is there any way to redefine the sub menu definitions?
At least some sub menues will work in a circular manner so I can just "up arrow" and wrap around, others will allow me to "page down" and then "up arrow" to the item I want. This may not work for every menu and direct access would be much better.
It looks like my regular batch job to get the EPG has been failing since the beginning of November. It runs xmltv.exe with tv_grab_uk_rt - on investigation, this continually fails with could not fetch http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv/xxx.dat error 500 server closed connection (where xxx represents the RT channel number - this varies from run to run).
Now, I'd be tempted to put this down to the Radio Times web server having some problems, but I can't believe it's been like this for the last 8 days. Had anyone else had similar problems?
Although the picture seems quite reasonable using the overlay, it causes on screen text and graphics to go a bit blocky such as program information.
What causes this ? Should it do this ? or is my setup abnormal ?
Thanks,
Juice.
I'm suffering some serious intermittent stuttering problems with video playback through GBPVR, especially noticeable with high-action sporting events like hockey.
I keep getting told that the problem likely has something to do with the combination of filters I'm using.
Can anyone please post their experiences with successful DScaler5 combinations of:
I kind of get the feeling that my installation of GBPVR may need to be re-installed.
I'm keen to do this (uninstall/reinstall) but want to be able to:
1. Keep all channels as configured for my two tuner cards
2. Keep all scheduled recordings, including all season types and ones I have specifically cancelled.
Has anyone else done this ? How have you approached it ?
Do you have a set procedure you follow ?
Regards,
Juice.
I have a WinTV PVR USB2. I am getting a signal when I go to Live TV. Initially (The first few seconds) I have audio and video. After that I get a jittery video picture and no audio. The video appears to be in slow motion or only random frames from the cable feed.
Also when I record a show I am only getting snow/static. I am not getting the audio or video.
Does anyone have any suggestions on possible solutions or config settings that may help me here.
