When the EPG doesn't update (like now I have half my channels with no information for some reason), it would be handy for the TV guide cursor to still navigate through the guide and highlight the chosen channel and to be able to choose the channel for live TV viewing regardless of whether there's EPG info or not.
Lack of EPG channel info shouldn't be a barrier to choosing the channel from the EPG.
Yes I can do it by choosing channel numbers but I don't know what numbers my channels are, the EPG shows channel logos, I have no clue without looking them up as to what number each channel is.
I'm failing to get about half my channels updated in the EPG, this has only just happened over the past couple of days. I'm updating via xml and the xml file does contain the data for the channels that are blank.
What's frustrating me is that I can't find any debug info in the gbpvr logs.
Which log should have data about the EPG update process?
How do I disable the Volume OSD?
Since I've updated to 98.13 I've been having skips while watching LiveTv (sort of sluggishness).
I've always had a bit of sluggishness but only when a part of the OSD was displayed (like program description and such). Wasn't a problem until now because the sluggishness was gone after the OSD had disappeared.
Now while watching LiveTv (watching recordings and movies are fine) the video skips after a few seconds which eventually leads to lost of AUDIO/VIDEO synchronization.
I think the Volume OSD is causing this problem since I've tried before using the Volume OSD plugin and had the same problem.
I'm using Nvidia decoder with WMR9 (and already tried different decoders and other renderers).
First up thanks for your product - it works brilliantly for me.
I just have one (hopefully simple) issue to sort out. I'm using a PVR-150 card. When I boot up my PC straight into GBPVR there is no sound on live TV, or recordings made at this time. The problem is fixed by exiting GBPVR and running WinTV2000, then restarting GBPVR.
I have tried changing the audio codecs from "system default" to all the other options available but this does not solve the problem. Any ideas on what I need to change to resolve this?
Have read through and tried everything suggested in the long Freecom USB DVB-T thread but still do not seem to get any channels.
I only recently bought it and have installed the bda drivers. GBPVR finds the stick but does not find any channels. I have run Chris Day's scanner the results of which I have attached. It seems to try and lock onto several channels but then reports 'scan timed out'. I am in North Yorkshire and believe I am served by the Emley Moor transmitter.
Can I now assume that it is my aerial that is not up to the job?

I have a PVR350 card. What I would really like to be able to do. Is to manually set GBPVR to record radio on a specified channel at a designated time. Is this possible?
since the links to the files are encrypted (at least I think I don't pretend to know a whole lot about how it works im just glad it does ) there should be like a play list creator
so that you could set up personal playlists to make it easier to get to all the songs you want
I went to the site where you get comskip from the developer and couldn't find it. I checked on the forum and a questioner was told it won't be available for some time.... ?????
In Config I'd like to be able to enable a prompt at the end of playing a show that asks if I want to delete it. Having to go back to recordings and track down the same show to delete it could be eliminated with this feature.
