I'm having an odd issue with my NextPVR docker container, running on Unraid. Overnight it becomes unresponsive. It still shows as running in the backend, but the webUI can't be reached anymore, and it doesn't respond to clients. A simple restart of the container resolves the problem. Here's what I see in the logs:

This happens every morning at 6:44am, which is when I have the guide update set. Seems like the container is going to sleep, which to my knowledge should not be happening. I'm sure this is more down to how I've setup the container than a NextPVR problem, but I'm stumped as to how to resolve it. Does anyone have any guidance on what I can do to correct this?
At least once a day NextPVR shuts down spontaneously. It does not appear to be a crash, because the last item in the terminal window is "Killed: 9", which I assume means the unix kill command with signal 9 was received. An example is reproduced below, and the log coinciding with this terminal output is attached.
You will note that the last entry in the log is at 23:48. This also happens to be the exact time that I exited Kodi, after watching a program. I have seen this same coinciding kill an a few occasions.
I've tried several times to download the latest v7.0.1.241229 using the correct setup program and the download gets to almost the end and then fails, with the message "AN EXCEPTION OCCURRED DURING A WEB CLIENT REQUEST". I've tried two different PCs, albeit on the same internet connection but I can however download similarly large files in a browser without a problem. I'm just wondering if there might be a problem with the installer for the latest version? Thank you.
I just updated NPVR to version 7.0.1.241229, and I still have an issue that started in November when I upgraded NextPVR from late version six to then current 7.0.0.241105. Did the normal NPVRSetup.exe to update, as the site directs. Seemed to progress normally. I did that install update several times - same result.
Since then, NPVR is NOT in the system tray, so therefore not directly usable since there is no access to it.
Workaround:
I did find that I can go into C:\ProgramFiles\NextPVR to find the file NPVRTray.exe, and run it. Then the green NPVR icon is quickly, properly back in the system tray! BUT after rebooting the machine, which I do daily and more often, NPVR is no longer in the system tray. I found that I could go to the NPVRTray.exe file, then put a shortcut to it on my desktop. Running the shortcut DOES put the green NPVR icon back in the system tray.
Can you help me fix whatever is wrong? It isn't critical, just a tiny annoyance. Something I can live with long-term, but it doesn't seem right to have to do this.
Then stopped my NextPVR service and tried to install but it tells me I have the latest version? I've not had this issue in the past. What am I missing?
sudo apt install ./nextpvr-helper.deb --install-recommends

Note, selecting 'nextpvr-helper' instead of './nextpvr-helper.deb'
nextpvr-helper is already the newest version (3.1).

I am following the steps for Pluto TV Extras, but when I select the link to downloaded it (https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/ext...hvod-2.zip), I am getting to another page (https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/extras). Any idea what I am doing wrong?
I had to pull the Extra because a NextPVR user was abusing the addon and PlutoTV terms and conditions and posting the EPG it creates publicly on GitHub. There could be message on the forum that link to the old addon.
Up until recently I have had my machine running Windows 7 with NextPVR 4.2.4 and an HDHomerun tuner. I have 3 Nvidia Shields running the very old Kodi 18.5 because when the Kodi updated to a newer version the add-on won't work with the old NexPVR running on my computer that handles the recording.
I would have just updated the NextPVR long ago, but everything was working and since I had an old OS I was thinking it was likely that I would update then run into issues due having Win 7. But now I have Windows 10 on that machine and was going to update the NextPVR and the Kodi on all of my Shields. With this being a big jump (from NextPVR 4.2.4 to 7.x and Kodi 18.5 to 21.1), am I likely to run into issues or should it be as simple as running the NextPVR installer (without uninstalling 4.2.4) and then updating Kodi? Thanks
I'm using the HDHR3-4DC in combination with the newest NextPVR in a linux LXC container with Ubuntu on my Proxmox host.
When I'm using the official Android TV app form HDHomerun, the EPG works perfectly fine. However I don't seem to get the EPG imported in NextPVR. I've emptied and reloaded it a couple of times, but it doesnt seem to work. Watching TV works fine.
I was on earlier and setup username and password at the office. I am home now and wanted to log in with new credentials (that was on office computer). Failed
Tried logging in with admin/password FAILED
I cant access NextPVR at home from login screen with any credentials. Is there something the server marks an IP address so it cant connect after a few failed attempts???
Just trying to get to NextPVR set up at home now and would like to have access to the recorded shows while at the office too. But I first installed it all at office which still connects with
new user name and password I made. But when I use the same credentials at the house FAIL ACCESS everytime.
Hi, since the v7 update, on the web player, the subtitle stream box when you click the cog after playing a live station, no longer allows you to choose a dvb-t stream, it just says none, there is no longer any streams to choose from even when they should be available?
It used to work fine with v6 nextpvr.
I am from uk and the dvb-t subtitles are the only option for subtitles.
I dont know why it is no longer working?
Just wanted to make creator 'sub' aware.
Thanks.
