  Dual Pvr question...
Posted by: timls3674 - 2006-09-24, 02:04 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I currently have a hauppaugge Pvr 150 and have been using it with GBPVR to record my shows, I have ordered a second PVR card a hauppaugge pvr 150 MCE and i am wondering if i can set them both up on one computer to record two different shows that are on seperate channels using GBPVR , can it handle recording two different shows at one time on different channels ? and if so is there a certain way you must set it up so when you do record two different shows at the same time you dont get a conflict ?

Object reference error when stopping video
Posted by: ggee - 2006-09-24, 01:36 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Whenever I press the stop button on my MVP while playing a recording or video, I keep getting the Object reference error. Log attached. It started doing this once I upgraded to 98.8b. I am running the blue skin just to keep things simple right now.

Hope to get client working too. Sub, it would be nice if you could start a brief sticky survival guide for client setup issues, common mistakes, known issues.

Thanks,
Greg

  System Upgrade Comments
Posted by: jsteele - 2006-09-24, 12:43 AM - Forum: General Discussion - No Replies

I'm planning to upgrade my system from the current AMD 3000+ XP CPU to an AMD 3400 64XP on a ABIT NF8-V2 motherboard. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with GBPVR on this processor and/or MB?

Thanks

GBPVR and digital cable setup question
Posted by: j210277 - 2006-09-23, 10:12 PM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (8)

Quick overview of my setup, I have a compaq d51s, hauppauge 150 and an nvidea 6200 lp tv out card. I am able to split out the tv signal so that I can get cable tv through the pvr and then digital cable on tv. I have been trying to get digital cable through the pvr. How do I do it?

  Hauppauge IR Blaster
Posted by: twinfrey - 2006-09-23, 08:15 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

Hi. I got my IR blaster to work with the Hauppauge software, but how do I get it to work with GBPVR? I looked at the channel changing mechanism in the setup box for GBPVR, but Hauppauge IR blaster was not one of the ones listed in the dropdown box. What do I need to do to set it up?

  Problems Getting TV
Posted by: Cheetah - 2006-09-23, 07:02 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

Hi there,

I have a Compro T200 and i have been trying to get this working all day.

I have managed to search to get the answers to most of my problems so far but i am now completely stuck.

I am using the latest version of gb-pvr and these drivers for the t200:1.3.1.2.4.

I have tuned the card and i can see the previews of the channels during tuning fine.

When i actually load the problem and click on live tv i get an error:

"Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Personally i havent a clue what this means, so if you could help out it would be great.

Thanks.

  "No tuning information available"
Posted by: barkerben - 2006-09-23, 06:27 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (7)

Apologies if this is very basic...

I'm in London (UK). I have installed the program, and am using a Freecom DVB-T USB stick. I have succesfully tuned it to the freeview channels and downloaded a EPG .xml file.

I can view all of the channels in the small tuning preview window no problem. However, if I try to vie them in the main program window I can only see about 3 channels - te rest say "No tuning information available" - and yet I can view them in the preview window... any ideas?

Also, is there a simple way to disable subtitles and/or toggle between full and windowed mode?

Cheers,

Ben
