HI i am looking to listen FM radio with gbpvr but no way to have any sound .
is somebody can tell me if FM Radio works with GBPVR and hauppauge HVR1300 . Sorry for my english .
Thanks
Perhaps someone can help me:
I have a PVR-150 and a Emuzed Maui card. Both are supported by GB-PVR I think.
How do I know which card is used for recordings and which is used for live tv? Can I control this? I'm asking, cause I suspect the PVR-150 is a better card, so I'd want that as the "primary" if possible.
For disk management and space efficiency, can I have each of the tuner cards store the video (recorded or live) to different directories or disks? In other words, can I have tuner card #1 record to G:/PVR and card #2 record to F:/PVR?
I haven't completed the set up for my pvr yet, but I have two questions that, if you can help with, will enable me to buy and setup the proper equipment:
Using a Media MVP, can I actually bring up my GBPVR software to the TV and control it, or do I have to use the interface provided by Media MVP? For example, can I have GB-PVR running on my computer (server?) and have the Media MVP show it (on the TV) and allow me to use my Hauppauge remote to watch and buffer live TV, schedule recordings, see the other plug-ins like weather, etc?
Can I look at the GB-PVR Web Anmin webpage to do my searches on the TV (through Media MVP)?
I have the PVR-150 and also a EMuzed Maui card which I think works with GB-PVR.
I have installed the Volume plugin as well as the SportsScores plugin. (UIElements and CommonGBPVRUtilities are installed as well). However, I get nothing on the screen when I am watching a show and change the volume with the remote or for the sports scores. I do however have OSD with the guide and info. Any thoughts?
I'm playing with setting up another computer as a GBpvr client. I got everything working except the live TV. I keep getting the "unable to connect to the recording service" error on the screen and this in the client side log.

I assume i've setup something wrong somewhere. Can someone show me where i've gone wrong?
I installed Advisor and some theme packs as well as a Theme Manager. However, it seems to be missing some images. I see red X's in the header and footer of most screens. I have errors in the log file as well:
9/21/2006 10:05:22 PM.334 ERROR [1] Unable to find named image: /settings/CompositeImages/CompositeImage[@name="ScreenHeader"]
9/21/2006 10:05:22 PM.584 ERROR [1] Unable to find named image: /settings/CompositeImages/CompositeImage[@name="RemoteHelp"]
etc... there are a few more, but I think that this is probably enough for someone to catch my problem.
I reinstalled 0.98.8b fresh instead of upgrading my old version of GBPVR to clean up some of the stuff.
Does anybody know of any DVB-S card (or perhaps even dvb-s2) that has DiscqC 1.2 support and works with GB-PVR? I have a diseqc motor and wish to run it from gb-pvr.
Last night I went into config.xml and set <ForceHighPriorityRecordingService> to true (to test if this would help with recording quality problems I've been having when multitasking the machine during a recording) and then this morning I noticed that my automatic EPG update (wake from standby) did not work -- the machine did not come on. Could the priority change for the recording service somehow have caused the update problem?
My EPG update has been waking my machine each day and working fine for months, until this morning. The priority change was the only change I made...
after installing the new Version its getting better and the number of failed recordings decreased, but they are still there.
I attached the log from a failed recording, maybe someone can have a look, thanks!
I discovered, that the most failed recordings are on 2 german TV channels: Pro7 and Kabel1, but i have no problem viewing them on LiveTV. The failed recordings only leave a 0kB file in the directory.
I have the latest Cyberlink BDA Muxer installed and my Computer wakes from standby when a recording starts. But i think the Problem is hidden somewhere in the log, because a "right" log looks different ;-)
