Eg. you suddenly realize that the <insert appropriate sporting event> is going to last longer than scheduled, and you'd like to add x minutes to the recording so you catch it all.
What all do I need to buy for this to work, and can playback be displayed
on my TV? I have 1.6GHz,512ram,80GB, and nVidia TNT2 M64 graphics card
32MB SDRRAM.
I recently purchased the above card and installed in my system OK (WinXP Home SP2). I also have a Medion DVB-T Card installed, although I can't get this to pickup any freeview (postcode check says can't get freeview so not overly concerned). The PVR500 was working fine and I was a very happy bunny (as was OH). I thought I'd have a play to see if I could get the analogue side of the Medion card working using GraphEdit (me thinking 3 tuners would be good). Got all the settings sorted, played around a bit and have ended up doing something to stop the PVR500 working  (and the analogue side of things doesn't work on the Medion Card). Issue is like a really bad reception (snowy/broken up picture) but audio is fine. Wished I'd not played around now!! SO - Uninstalled the PVR500 Card and reinstalled using drivers of the CD (3.1C). Still the same. Installed latest drivers (3.1E) from Hauppauge website - still same. Removed all drivers and put card in different slot reinstalled drivers (3.1E) and still the same. Any one have any suggestions on what else to try. It's driving me made not having the ability to record TV at the moment. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. BTW â PC has Cyberlink PowerCinema 4.0 and PowerDVD 6.0 preinstalled and canât get the PVR500 working with PowerCinema either, although the analogue side of the Medion card works fine with PowerCinema. Capture source #1 is PVR500 with FM Radio, Capture source #2 is PVR500. FM radio works fine via GBPVR.
Hi, i just installed the v0.98.8b and im having this issue. While in timeshift mode TV, whenever i start a recording (with Control-k) the OSD bar remains the same. So theres no way to tell if its recording or not (happens when using 'recording until i exit' and also 'for an specified time'). Despite this, recordings work fine.
Also, in timeshift mode, there is no channel name in the osd bar. But i dont know if this is intended or not.
In Live Preview mode everything seems fine to me. I got channel names displayed and while recording the recording file name is displayed in the osd bar.
Oh and im using the deafult Blue skin and no external plugins at all.
Any clue?
I don't know if the correct term is aliasing or interlacing or whatever but I get those horizontal lines when capturing (from hauppauge pvr 150 mce). What are considered to be the "best" settings? It's killing me to watch the Simpson's ;-)
I now have Xrecord/Priority Records working in version 97.13. (Thanks).
Is there a tool that can converting my existing normal season recordings into XRecord scheduled recordings, I'd like to be able to see all my recordings in one spot?
Or is there a way to turn of 'schedule' as a menu choice in XSearch and XGuide, and just have advanced so that everything goes through the priority scheduler?
Since the new upgrade to 0.98.8, my Girder plugin for GBPVR doesn't work right. I have to plugin setup to use my ATI remote wonder and it worked great for the previous version. Have any of the keyboard commands changed (they don't appear to have since using the keyboard still works fine). The main keys that don't work now are navigate up and navigate left. This makes it difficult to use the program.
I have installed SportsScores and have the required CommonGBPVRUtilities and GBPVRUIElements along with <VideoPlugin4>Sports Scores</VideoPlugin4> in my config.xml file. The only sport that shows up is NFL, although I have NBA and MLB also checked with favorite teams added. Also, when the ticker shows up on my screen, it makes the video jittery.
Still suffering crashout problems with version 98.8b on the MVP im afraid. Was trying to play back a program for the girlfriend, and the MVP would not hold up for more than 10-20 mins at a time. I have attached a log of one of the crashes. I notice some unknown request messages from the MVP, no idea if they are anything to do with it. According to the GBPVR service, the MVP just stops responding. Any ideas anyone?
