I find I've started using my wireless track ball more and more to control GBPVR. It works very well for everything except the TV Guide. I can't navigate beyond the "now" page. Am I missing something or does this require development to add navigation buttons that can be clicked?
Does anyone know of a free m4v to mpeg converter. I would like something that's open source or free with out adware or trial. I found this great File called iScorch but it's an iPod file. I want to put it on my cell phone but can't in this format..... thanks
Here is a wish for us that doesn't require Sub's hard work.... May I recommend that ALL forum uses include their country location in their profile. So much about PVR, EPG and tuners etc is regional and it really helps to know where someone is when they report a success or problem. I stand to offend perhaps 40-50% of uses when I remind them that the IS a world outside the USA. (despite the fact that I am sitting in a hotel in Detroit at the moment...gotta love that irony.) I know this helps Sub also - I see him ask all the time WHERE are you?

My question is about entering letters using the number pad on the remote (when using MVP) or the number pad on the PC. I don't understand what the program is doing.
Example (in "Word Starts with" mode):

Example (in "Contains" mode):

I don't understand what it is doing. I can't figure out how to search for a program that starts with a "B" (or any other letter that is the 2nd or 3rd assigned to the number key).
Is there a bug or do I just not understand?
Also, I was wondering if you were planning on building any of the zaptools data into ShowSearch (e.g. cast, genre, etc).
