Hi,
I have been a longtime NextPVR user (on Windows, but never upgraded to the newer NextPVR versions, the version I was using was not web based).
Long story short my computer crashed and I now did a fresh install using Ubuntu 20.04 and NextPVR latest version using the .DEB installer provided.
I have 2 Hauppauge HVR-1250 and HVR-1255 in my system. NextPVR sees one of them for the moment, I'll look into getting the other one to work later.
I have scanned for ATSC channels and found 7 so that's fine.
Now when I go to test and watch a live channel using NextPVR web interface, I only get a black screen and the "Starting device... Please wait..." message. No image is ever displayed.
I also tried using the URL of the stream and opening it in VLC but don't get anything : Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://127.0.0.1:8866/live?channel_id=7148'.
Could anyone please help me figure out what's not working in my installation? I'm guessing it could be a codec or transcoding problem?

My server just crashed on me. It's often been responding super slowly from the knewc client recently, so I had stopped and restarted the service just a few hours ago.
The logs are uploaded, although it looks like the last nrecord.log isn't complete due to the buffering. And there wasn't any dump file in C:\temp\.

If I haven't used NextPVR for a while (we only use it occasionally) recordings stop.
Where are the previous days log files stored? The wiki says in the logs subfolder of the NEXTPvr/Data folder, but there is no logs subfolder.
The error I get in NextPVR backend is [Failed: No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal] but it gets signal easily and instantly on LiveTV and the TV Guide is empty unless I manually update it.
So, I am trying to set up a Windows 10 scheduler to update the EPG automaticallyusing the -updateepgonly commandline option. However, I am confused about which executable I am meant to launch in order to use that commandline option.
... it seems to do the exact opposite of what I want! It launches the NextPVR client and doesn't seem to update EPG (although it's hard to tell). If I point it at the server.exe instead it says it'll only run one instance. So what .exe (or .dll?) are those commmandline options for, and/or what .exe (or .dll?) am I meant to be pointing my schedule towards?

Version 5 web app play & stop icon's to small to see. Desktop app same size as before and okay. From 20 feet in bed or an armchair it is too hard to see the icons is there any way to make them bigger.
This is my first post here, so hello and more importantly a huge thank you for a great product.
I've been using NPVR for a few months now on a dedicated i7 PC that does little else except host an instance of Plex to view recordings as an adjunct to my main Plex.
The PC has a Hauppage dual USB stick as the secondary tuner, the primary tuner is a quad HD Homerun. All recording from DVB-T. I'm in Yorkshire UK.
I initially had a few recordings flagged as failed, which I think were just teething issues. I've not really sen any failures recently and I've recorded over 1000 movies, most seemingly successful (though I've by no means checked them all!) but occasionally I would get recordings that were not marked as failed but that was very short or even invalid. I lacked the time to try and investigate these issues, so all I did was to grab a copy of the recording folder and then delete the recording through NPVR. I suspected that in some instances NPVR was allowing more simultaneous recordings that I had tuners (6 in total). Last night I was able to prove this by grabbing a copy of the database and writing some code to create a heat map of tuners in use for each 5-minute slot over the scheduled period, and I saw that I had 7 recordings in three close instances. These had been set up manually using the latest version and no recordings are recurring.

On web interface TV Guide can not scroll left/right on Apple Mac.
The scroll bar does not appear on Mac web clients. I have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox. No problem on Windows just on Mac. Can scroll up/down all channels but no scroll bar to go beyond the current times on one screen.

I am new to Nextpvr and even newer to IPTV. I found a list of playlists by country on Github. One is for the US and also has a guide url. I've imported them both into Nextpvr. I do receive the channel signals fine, but there is no guide, all blank. Am I doing something wrong? I subscribe to schedules direct. Do I need to link anything with them? Is there a wiki on how to set this up? FYI, I have one pc with HDhomerun and Nextpvr that I don't wish to commingle with iptv. I have a second pc without a tuner and I wish to run the iptv. What do I need to do?
