I have two tuners. 


Local Recorder (Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD ATSC Tuner)
Local Recorder (Hauppauge Cx23100 BDA ATSC Tuner)

The WinTV-dual tuner can find channels no problem. The Cx23100 BDA cannot find any channels after a scan. I can't seem to attach the logs so here's a sample. 

I have setup my Schedule Direct account, and have tried to update the guide, and nothing aver downloads. Does anyone have any advise to what I am doing wrong?

I have an inconsistent issue, where on random nights, watching live tv, it'll just stop randomly ... some nights just the once, but some nights repeatedly. Tonight it happened on at least 3 occassions.

I have attached logs from tonight ... the times I've noted the live tv stopped working, appear to match with the following message popping up in the nrecord log - "Live stream expired without 15 second renewal".

First example happened at 21:17:33.299 ... livetv stopped, unable to do anything with the remote for approx a minute (just seemed to hang) ... then played rest of the show I was trying to watch from the recording. (Show was being recorded, although I was watching it through livetv instead).

After finished watching that show, switched over to Duke (show not being recorded - just live tv), and at 21:54.00.724 again the live tv stopped ... got it back up and running only for it to stop again at 21:56:08.027.

I do run comskip in parallel processing mode ... is it possible that it is related to that, or something else?

Any ideas appreciated!

Just updated to 5.0.6 via the https://nextpvr.com/NPVRSetup.exe link
and now when I go to the web app settings screen every tab is blank (see screenshot)

Still fighting with Version 5 :-)

I am trying to add Xtream Editor EPG data to my IPTV tuner in Version 5. The tuner took the m3u data link and now lists the channels, however when I enter the link for the epg data, and try to map channels, nothing shows up in the epg data list.

I refer to this thread: https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=59685 and was wondering if indeed, the fix has been included in whatever release of version 5 is current? The thread linked inside of this link doesn't exist. So...is there any way to get the Xtream epg data to work with Version 5?

I have a recurring schedule: All episodes, this channel, this timeslot, day(s).

The Start Time is 2020-07-11 06:30 PM
The End Time is 2020-07-11 07:00 PM

The Timeslot Start is 2020-07-11 05:00 PM
The Timeslot End is 2020-07-11 08:00 PM

The recurring schedule was created using nextpvr.

Could someone explain the the way the timeslot dates are calculated.

Hello,

What is the proper way to install Version 5 on a Windows 7 machine that already has version 4 on it? I installed version 5 yesterday, set up my HDHomerun with all of my channels and today the device is empty, no channels are listed though I do have a guide and can play a channel. I am think maybe a db got hosed somehow.
Anyone have a link or instructions?

There is a new type of USB HDMI capture device on the online sites that are really cheap so I thought I'd get one from Amazon and I was pleasantly surprised.  Mine https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0888R8...UTF8&psc=1 was $30 CDN delivered (ok yes I have Prime) which is around $22 US and so it wasn't much risk plus free returns.   For testing running my FireTV 4k into it.

The main issue with these devices in general is they don't have h/w conversion build it so although the raw mjpg video and  pcm audio which can play directly with some devices, but it needs transcoding to work properly with NextPVR.  Since I am using this as an Extra it was actually not a big deal to set ffmpeg up for direct show transcoding.    It worked right away for me with Quick Sync video for h/w transcoding with the CPU under just 2% and about 17% GPU during the capture, Windows saying that the power usage is low so basically.

Sadly for this device only 2 channel PCM and only 1080p30 capture but for broadcast 1080i60 that should be the ok.  I will probably use 720p60 anyway.

The only gotcha has been the audio capture name changes depending on USB device it is plugged into.  Also because it is like a web cam Windows and your a/v program may try and restrict access to the device.

I will try and setup it up on linux later, hopefully that work ootb as a v4l device.

In the npvr.db3 database, I see an "enabled" field in the recurring_recording table.  All records in the table have the value "Y."  Manually changing the value to "N" does actually disable that recurring recording.

Is this field actually used anywhere, or is it an artifact from earlier versions?
