First I have to start BlazeDTV for one time and stop the program before GBPVR find the DVBT-stick.
I ´ve this Problem on two different systems.
System a) AMD Athlon 800 MHz, 265MB RAM, MATROX marvel G450eTV, W2K (at home)
System b) Intel Pentium 4 / 2.53GHz, 1024MB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400, Win XP (in the office)
How can I edit the channels with the parameters manualy.
I just got done with a reformat and was recently just upgraded to 97.13 and then I went to install BlueMCE2 and I notice theres a new version (based on Baseskin XMLs) so I get it and install it and me expecting the old style BlueMCE2 was knocked off guard. Anyways some things in the new one I like, like the better responsive to controls and the little x in the top right and more buttons on Live TV (dont know if thats a good thing yet) but there are also a lot of stuff I dont care for and before I go into that I was wanting to know whats up with this skin is it currently under devolopment or what. The buttons and text look bad the tvguide is completely different and the live tv gui. Any information would be helpful, I love the BlueMCE2 skin and I have a lot of respect for the skinners so in no way take this offensively I am just concerned about the prettyness of the old BlueMCE2 that made it great. Thanks again!
I have a USB DVB-T TV Tuner called Savvy TV or Lite-ON. Is it supported in GB-PVR.
I have already a PVR 350 TV tuner card and everything works perfect.
Now I´m want to have better sound and picture.
I'm hoping somebody out there has hit upon this issue already. I'm having problems with my MVP and Netgear HDX101 Powerline 200mbps adapters.
GB-PVR and SageTV work great when the MVP is plugged directly into my router, but as soon as I plug the MVP into the powerline adapters (plugged into the same outlet to get max rated speed), and the powerline to my router, the MVP wonât load (after a hard reboot: get the infinite Loading Application....).
Now hereâs the interesting part: if I get SageTV or GB-PVR loaded onto the MVP while the MVP is directly connected to the router, turn the MVP off (sleep), and then move the MVP's ethernet connection to the Netgear powerline adapters without power cycling the MVP, everything works great after waking the MVP from sleep.
So Iâve determined the problem is the Netgear HDX101 Powerline adapters. Either because:
1) They donât do half duplex (is there anyway to determine this?), or
2) The MVP refuses to search across more than 1 MAC address (each Powerline adapter has its own MAC address). Although, I have confirmed that the MVP does get its own IP address across these hardware MAC's.
3) Some other unknown issueâ¦
The only thing that really bugs me though is that as long as I donât power cycle the MVP, and load the firmware first via the router, it works fine until the next power cycle. So Iâm not really sure where to go from here.
Has anyone experienced anything like this using powerline adapters?
Anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? Any way to confirm half/full duplex operation?
Is is possible to modify the connection string for Video Archive to run in MSDE? I have tried and it does not connect. The string is cut into 3 parts in the config. I have successfully gotten GBPVR to run in MSDE and love Video Archive and was hoping I could get both on the same engine.
With the Emuzed Maui III, GBPVR uses a different video bitrate and resolution contrary to what I've chosen. For example, i set the video bitrate to 2.2 Mb, resolution to 352 x 480 and the audio to 160k. Instead the video resolution is 720 x 480, video bitrate = 2.0Mb and sound bitrate= 224k.Also, the audio bitrate is 224k instead of 160k. In the past, I've only had problems with only the audio bitrate with my pvr150 card. Could the direct.ini emuzed maui iii filter be responsible for this or is there something else?
I'm not sure if this is directly a GBPVR problem, or a larger Windows issue, so I thought I'd start by asking here.
I can only play two or three recorded shows. On opening the next show, Windows freezes; only a cold reset gets me up and running again. It doesn't seem to matter which recordings I watch - no particular show causes the crash, and when I've rebooted, the one that crashed plays fine. There's no magic number for the number of recordings I can watch before this happens.
Nothing appears in Windows' event logs to indicate what's going on.
Is anyone able to clarify which of the following installed items could be potentially at fault if I'm getting intermittant recording problems (background at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=18473)? That is which of these items should be trying different versions/types to attempt to rectify my record problems?
