Hey,
I have just got the Hauppauge HVR 1100 her in the UK and have setup to use DVB-T. I have installed GBPVR and gone through the configuration process. I setup the TV card a a NOVA T. This as automatically detected.
I loaded in the EPG and went to map the channels. I found all of the Freeview (UK) channels I currently get and even previewed them while scanning. I setup the software MPEG encoders to the Hauppauge one.
However when going into GBPVR and into Live TV i get a "Error: Object Reference not set" which is the generic one I understand.
I have played with it loads but cannot seem to get it working. I have attached the log files and am on the latest version 0.97.13
I've been surfing everywhere and found many ways to read and write to ini files, but all of the ways require a key:
Code:
[KEY1]
Value1=thing
Value2=etc
I want to be able to refer to just a Value without a key...
Why?
For example, comskip.ini has values, I'd like to read directly, and there's no Keys. If I add a key to the top, the comments that are 'semi-coloned out' are also retrieved...
I know that another way for me to read and write to text files, are to read the whole thing into a buffer, read/edit the value, and then write it back.
Before I crank on that one, is there an easier way?
I was also wanting to read write values in the config.xml. I suspect there's APIs that will help. And of course there's the messy, 'read text file, re-write new text file' method, but I can't find much on this..
My daughter was playing around with "net radio" on GBPVR tonight. After she got off of the computer I noticed the "gbnetradio-0.mp3" file I had in my directory had been overwritten by a station my daughter was listening to. The original file had a rare song from Ireland that I wanted to archive, unfortunately my file recovery software cannot find the file "gbnetradio-0.mp3". I fear it may be lost for good. Does anyone know what happened to the original file and if there is a way to restore it so that I can back it up to a CD? Your help is greatly appreciated.
I just reinstalled XP and now I have no MPEG decoders listed in GB-PVR. I believe I was using CyberLink Video/SP Decoder before, and I assumed the decoder installed along with the drivers for the card, but I guess not. Where can I get the decoder? I have the ATI 550 Elite card.
