GBPVR has worked flawless for over a year. Have installed new updates as they become available and have had no issues.
Last week my mainboard failed and I rebuilt my HTPC and installed everything fresh including the new 97.13v of GBPVR.
Live TV works fine as well as FM Radio. Scheduled recording works too. The files playback fine, just no audio. If I open the files in wmp, they playback with audio. I have searched, but didn't see anything that might help.
Sorry to be a pest, but Is there a way to set a global text style?
The theme I'm working on I'm trying to make everything as nuetral as possable so you can simply change the background to achive a fairly new look (everything is transparent) But I'd like to be able to change the Highlight color in one place (like BaseSkin) and have all the highlighted text throughout the theme change.
Microsoft released a truly majestic number of patches for XP during yesterday's Patch Tuesday. Included I see is a security update to .NET 2.0. Does anyone know for sure GBPVR functions correctly with the patch installed?
This new build is so stable... really don't want to ruin it. : )
I have an Emuzed Angel II video card, with two tuners on it. After much research using GrphEdit, I was able to build a pair of graphs that show both tuners working on different channels. I used the information to code a direct.ini entry that works for taping or for live TV viewing, but never both at the same time. Thread with my direct.ini changes
I need to know what I should be doing with my direct.ini entry. Do I have to clone the entry and give it a new name to use the second tuner? How does GB-PVR know which entry to use when the two Angel II tuners have the same external name in GrphEdit? I can't figure out how to get GBPVR to use the internal names, which seem to be the only distinction between the tuners.
Note: this is currently a WIN-MCE computer. I can look at live video using the Media Center live TV while I am taping with GB-PVR.
I live in an area where you can plug directly into the wall for basic cable or connect to a set top cable box to receive the digital channels. My question is how would it be best to set this up in gb-pvr. I have a dual tuner (AVC 3610). I want to be able to watch record from either input.
I am quite a bit ignorant about capture cards, but I want to get the best card possible that is 100 bucks or less, and I will probably buy it from newegg.com. Am I going to cheap with such a decision? What can a top of the line capture card do that a 100 dollar or less one do?
I don't know what brand or kind to get, and I know the software on this site is compatible with a great many brands and models. But I still don't know what direction to lean in.
I apologize for my ignorance, and if it matters I am running Windows XP SP1 with 256 RAM and an Athlon XP 2400+.
I have a Freecom usb stick which came with Arcsoft Totalmedia. Having found the far superior GBPVR I thought I may as well reclaim the 100mb that Arcsoft was occupying, but when I watched live tv or a recording, moving the mouse over the display didn't show the osd, and ctrl g/b didn't work. On reinstalling Arcsoft the OSD reappeared. Any idea what I'm losing that I need? As tv still works the drivers are obviously still present. Logs before and after uninstall attached.
